  Management of this location was a real JERK!! Insisted I needed new wiper blades, so I purchased. After getting oil changed and tires rotated, he came back and said I needed a new battery and my brakes were 80% worn out. I told him NO, I didn’t want his battery and had my brakes checked four days later by my mechanic. He called me and said my brakes were fine. Don’t do business with Mayodan, only out to take advantage of you !!!

  I had a great experience at Mavis Tire. Greg and Warren were both incredibly helpful and got me taken care of quickly when I needed a valve stem replacement. They were professional, friendly, and had me back on the road in no time. It's refreshing to find a shop that provides honest, prompt service and treats customers with respect. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for reliable tire service. Thanks again, Greg and Warren!

  ⭐️ I had a great experience getting my tires installed here. The staff was friendly, professional, and got everything done quickly. The whole process was smooth, and they made sure everything was done right. It’s hard to find reliable service these days, but they definitely exceeded my expectations. I’ll absolutely be coming back and would highly recommend them to anyone needing tire service!

  My nephew came to Mavis have his front brakes checked. He went back to them since they worked on his brakes previously. We had already looked at the brakes for him before he went there, a clip on the drivers side pad had come loose. The pad ate into the rotor due to being cocked sideways in the caliper. The rear pad on the drivers side was fine as well as the back side of the rotor. Mavis wanted to charge $600 for brake pad replacement, rotors and a brake fluid flush to “fix his sticking caliper”. A fluid flush won’t fix a sticking caliper (check with google, or a mechanic you trust)the replacement of the brake hose, lubing the slide pins, or caliper replacement, “fixes a sticking caliper.” Once we realized they were trying to ridiculously overcharge him, he asked them to stop. They had already disassembled the brakes, a twenty minute job at most. They charged him $175 for 40 minutes of work to remove and reinstall the brakes? They took advantage of the fact he didn’t know much about a car. I wonder how many other people they “upsold” the jobs to, to pad the bottom line. I wouldn’t trust them to work on a wagon. If you need auto work, I suggest you go elsewhere. This particular shop is a very bad representation for the Mavis company. I had to give them 1 star to leave the review, I’d give them 0 stars if I could. BTW, the rotors and pads cost $250 at a local Autoparts store w/ a can of brake clean, a pack of anti-squeal, and a small bottle of brake fluid to off the reservoir.

  Very happy with the service we received at Mavis. The general manager Greg was a pleasure to do business with and very transparent! He gave me the best price on my tires out of anyone else I could find in town! Also offered and recommended a fuel system treatment for my vehicle for $150 due to it having almost 300,000 miles without trying to pressure me into it, I explained You I really would love to but could not Afford it at the moment and offered me a special for $99 for the first treatment and promised I would not be disappointed a would be able to tell the difference immediately! I took him up on that offer a boy I’m glad I did because my car is running better then it ever has!!! Excited to see the improvement on my gas mileage!!! Most def will be going back !! Thx Greg
