  Chris and David and the other staff at this establishment were very helpful and very friendly. I would recommend anybody to come here if you need help with your car. They did excellent job assisting me and I will likely come back here again.

  "Outstanding customer service! I came in with a screw stuck in my front tire. The team removed the screw, patched up the tire, and even rotated my tires so the newly repaired tire would safely sit on the back. To my absolute surprise, they charged me nothing for the entire service. They were fast, incredibly kind, and honest. Plus, the location is super convenient—it's within walking distance of several stores and great places to eat like San Marcos and China Yummy if you ever have to wait for an extended service. I highly recommend the Mayodan Mavis team!"

  Both mikes here were so amazing..I was from outa state traveling back home and I got a flat tire. My bestie came an hr out his way n put my donut on for me n followed me here n they patched it up in no time and put the tire back on for me and didnt even charge...turned my worst day into the best day thank you guys!!!

  Logan, Anthony, and The LEGENDARY "OHFB" are the best leaders out of any mavis store. They actually get out in the shop and get involved whether needed or not. Baddest dudes around hands down. Even saw mr. Cooley "OHFB" rip a TELEPHONE BOOK IN HALF in the name of customer service. Actually a true story.

  I rarely leave reviews, but felt the need to warn anyone who may be inclined to do business here. Dropped off our car for an oil change and to have brakes put on (we had already purchased the brake pads and left them with them- please keep this in mind). Arrived at the shop to pick up our car and manager states that he “works with children” who have “been breaking things” all day. (Not what you want to hear when you pick up your car they’ve been working on that day.) The bill for an oil change and putting brakes on was $502. Immediately felt like I had been taken for a ride, but paid for the services done nonetheless. Assumed everything was fine, and drove my car back to work 30 minutes away only to find oil POURING out of it. Called and spoke with the manager who apologized, blamed a new hire who has been having repeated issues, and he then instructed us to take it to the next closest Mavis location off of Battleground so they can fix what their guy did ( in order to do that, we had to take a separate vehicle to go purchase more oil to even get it there to begin with and then pray the engine didn’t lock up before we made it there). The Battleground location has been much better to work with so far, and I feel sorry they are having to fix this location’s mistakes, but I cannot speak for their services yet as my car is still there at the moment. Please don’t do business at this Mavis location. For $502, a basic oil change should be done with zero issues. Now, I have to worry about long term damage done to my vehicle due to their negligence and definitely do not trust their brake pad installation if they can’t even do a simple oil change. I realize things happen, and feel we showed a lot of grace, especially since nobody offered to come tow the car and left us to figure it out ourselves despite it being their fault- but if my car was worked on for two hours, there is no excuse for the poor quality of work we paid for today. Find a reputable mechanic that is not this one.
