  I booked a reservation online, and even utilized the opportunity to check in using your online portal. All of that was seamless, clear and smooth. The next morning, I received a voicemail while I was having a procedure done telling me that unfortunately, there were NO CARS ON THE LOT. I asked if there were any other class of cars on the lot and was told no. After explaining the level of need, Mason at the Monroe location told me he would do everything he could to get me in a vehicle, and he did just that. I called back around 915am, and he told me he had me a car, but I would have to pick it up from the Matthews location. I was very grateful for this, and went right there. I had an event in Raleigh, and we were already running behind due to the delay in getting the car (original pickup was at 8:30am). When I got to the Matthews location, there was already a line of people waiting and the gentleman working was in the office by himself. He had gone out to pick up a car, I think, but when he returned, he walked in the office, and with confidence, helped each customer quickly and efficiently. It took about 8 minutes for him to put two other customers in a vehicle and get them on their way before he got to me. When he did, he asked me if I had been told the vehicle he had was not the same cost, and I absolutely had NOT been told that. It cost me about 50.00 more, but at that point, if I was going to make the event, I had no choice but to get it anyway. The gentleman working gave me 10.00 off my total for the inconvenience, which was appreciated. It would be nice if there was a way to have the online system reflect the local store’s current inventory so that people aren’t reserving cars that are not available. This created a huge inconvenience in my situation, as I imagine it has for others with different circumstances as well. Also, details like a price change are imperative to communicate to a customer so that they are not blindsided. If it were not for these two things, this would have been a 10/10 customer experience. Even still, because of how both gentlemen showed aspects of great customer service, I would give the total experience an 8/10.

  Great customer service and friendly! The gentleman working at the front makes a good first impression, will definitely rent from the Matthews, NC location again.

  Justin was so helpful! I was in a collision with my Tesla and was given as 4-runner as a rental in exchange of my car. The 4-runner was not anything equivalent to my car either. Justin had asked for 25 hours to find me something equivalent to my car. In less than 10 hours he was able to swap the 4-runner with a 2024 convertible mustang. Not to mention they work in hand with Tesla Collision so they pick up and drop off too!! There’s usually a wait time because they are so busy but for service like this I wouldn’t mind waiting.

  Unfortunately had a bad experience with this rental company. I was charged an add-on service that was not clearly explained to me at the time of rental. I did not knowingly authorize or request it, and I would not have agreed to it if it had been properly disclosed. I already have personal auto collision coverage, which applies to rental cars, so this charge was unnecessary. I was taken advantage of by the representative who could tell I was not knowledgeable about rental cars, and chose to withhold information to get an easy sale. When I spoke on the phone with someone they said “I know our guys and they would’ve explained what you were signing up for.” A lesson to me for future rental situations, but also a lesson to not support this business in the future.
