Lastly I provided my exact year, make, model, and engine size to buy a replacement battery, but AutoZone still showed multiple different battery group sizes (H6, H7, etc.). Most customers aren’t interested in “will‑fit” alternatives they just want the one correct battery their vehicle was designed for. There should be a way to simply give my VIN and get the exact OEM‑specified battery size instead of sorting through several incompatible options. Shouldn't even have to pop the hood this should all be in the systems available.

I will go to auto advance from now on.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
