Progressive contacted Enterprise to set up the rental. Gave us the rental code. Mom talked with someone that evening and was told nothing was available but be there at 9:00 the next morning. We called before 8:30 to make sure they had something available. The answer was, call back later around 10:30 because all of our vehicles are getting tires and oil changes. Tried to call back and no one knew anything. So we decided to go there anyway. Our reservation was for 10:30. The young man was really nice, but he asked me a good time to come pick up a car. I was shocked, because we had already been put off twice. The nice young lady overheard and said if we could wait around for about 40 minutes to an hour that they would have an accord ready. So we went and took our time at cracker barrel. Went back and was told the accord was still getting the oil changed. The next thing I know, she let me know we were getting a different vehicle. She said the manager wanted the accord because it gets better gas mileage so they were going to give me the K5 to drive because it's mpg isn't as good as the accord. What kind of messed up "business" mess is that??! The customer should be looked after first. The 2 guys and the young lady were nice, but come to find out one of the guys was the manager and he was the one who wanted the accord for himself. So after waiting an hour and half, "for nothing, because he wanted the accord" we are given the K5 when we shouldn't have had to waited if that was the case. After we left, it hit me pretty hard about just how jacked up that was. I really didn't appreciate it to say the least. By the way, this is the Lumberton nc location.

Had a car reservation made two weeks in advance for a trip to Florida. Showed up to pickup my vehicle at the allotted time and when I walk in was told that they had done an rent out all there vehicles to other customers, earlier in the day. 2 other customers were also in the store facing the same issues & the 3 guys working were laughing and acting like it wasn't even a big deal & didn't offer no other assistance to use besides saying my bad. Everyone working there should loose there job!
