  I would highly recommend using an alternative rental company if you want to avoid frustration and potential delays in your vacation/ traveling. We booked a car on May 22nd for our trip that was supposed to start this morning July 3rd. Upon attempting to pickup our reserved Premium pickup, we were notified that they didn’t have it, nor any truck available for us to use. They stated that they called 3 times (both numbers on file) on June 30th to let us know it would not be available- ironically we have no missed calls for that date nor voicemails that they allege to have left, clearly they either lied about calling/ leaving voicemails or someone planned to do it and dropped the ball. To make matters worse this is not the first time that we have been in this situation at the Lincolnton location. In 2019 we reserved a large SUV and once again they didn’t have a vehicle for us. The alternative was for them to rent us two separate vehicles for our group to drive. We tried to give this location another chance considering our last issues was 7 years ago, but it seems as if the issues persist.

  We reserved a midsize 2 weeks in advance and were given a compact that had a defective airbag. All dealers called within 30 miles did not have cars to give us. They did not care if we were safe in our rental. We prayed we did not have an accident traveling through the Blue Ridge Mountains without a driver airbag functioning.

  1st time I have rented a vehicle .The lady who helped me in lincolnton nc answered all my questions & eased my mind on renting . The process was quick & easy even let me choose which van I wanted . Very reasonably price for what we needed Great vehicle we will rent if needed again .

  Don’t recommend. Had a reservation set up by Progressive while my car is being repaired for today. Spoke with rep from Enterprise Friday 5/29 who told me a rental car would be available Monday but would be after 1:00pm. I called this morning at 9am to confirm and now a car won’t be available until after 3 or 4. And the only option is a mini van AND I would have to pay extra over the insurance allowed to rent. I let the rep know I didn’t care if the car was smaller or larger but I don’t want to pay over the allowed amount. And he advised I can come look at what they have on the lot. But why would I drive to the Enterprise lot and then drive to drop my wrecked vehicle off at the body shop? And why do I need to look at what you have if you are telling me you don’t have anything except a mini van? What else would there be for me to look at? Absolutely ridiculous. Just advised him to cancel the appointment and I will reach out to insurance company.
