    Definitely a bad experience. Booked a rental online. Received a call from Enterprise (Knightdale branch) to confirm the booking and was told that my car would be ready at 4pm. Arrived at Enterprise at 4pm and was told that they didn't have a car for me and they wouldn't have a car until the next day. My response was so you couldn't call and tell me that before my appointment time instead of waiting until I arrived. The response was we were supposed to have a return but it never showed. Asked if they could see if another branch had availability and I was told that they can't see other branches inventory. They didn't care about the situation that they put me in. Didn't even try to call another branch. In fact, there was another customer there in the exact same situation. Very unprofessional. Clearly they are over booking. You would think ENTERPRISE would have better customer service then this. Very disappointing.

    I had a reservation at this location. Called earlier in the day to confirm it. I show up to pick up my car and they tell me there isn’t one available but they will figure it out. One of the associates then asked to come with him outside to talk. He tells me they don’t have any cars and the can’t help me. He went back inside and locked the door. This location is horrible with even worse customer service. Stay away from here.

    I had a very disappointing experience with this Enterprise location. I picked up a rental SUV and immediately noticed several issues, including a missing gas cap, a strong odor inside the vehicle, visible residue, and a cigarette burn in the seat. The car was clearly not cleaned or properly inspected before being rented out. I reported the issues to customer service the same day and was told the branch would contact me, but I never received a call back. I also made multiple attempts to reach the location myself with no response. I had to travel out of town and was left with no choice but to use the vehicle in unacceptable condition. As a paying customer, this was frustrating and inconvenient. This experience did not reflect the level of service or cleanliness that Enterprise advertises. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both their vehicle standards and customer follow-up.

    I was having a great experience until I returned the vehicle on April 13, 2026. When I returned the vehicle at the knightdale location, Xavier who checked me out asked me a disturbing question, asking if there were any drugs or guns left in the vehicle. I looked at him in disbelief and questioned why he would ask me that. He said sometimes those things are left. I asked him if he asks all customers that question and he said yes. He did not ask the next customer that. I also found out that he was overheard asking another woman of color the same question. His racial targeted questions made me very uncomfortable. Afterwards I asked for a drop off and he had me waiting for an hour for a ride home. I had to ask another worker who had someone take me.

    I reserved a Ford Explorer (6‑seater) a full week before my trip and even called the day before to adjust my pickup time. Everything seemed fine until I arrived at the Knightdale location. Without any explanation, I was handed the keys to a Genesis instead of the SUV I reserved. I had to ask why the vehicle was changed, and even then, the response was vague. On top of that, I had to request a price adjustment twice just to get the correct rate for a much smaller vehicle. The Genesis is a nice car, but it barely seats 2.5 people in the back nowhere near what I booked or needed. Downgrading a customer’s reservation with no notice and then providing poor customer service on top of it is unacceptable. This was by far my worst experience with this location.
