  Extremely disappointed with my experience at Kinston Enterprise today, particularly the poor & rude customer service provided by Colton (Kolton). Waiting over 45 minutes after being guaranteed a car at check-in, I overhead Colton berating another customer that they had “absolutely no cars available at this time & it wasn’t his problem they had no cars available”. After hearing this, I made my way to the counter where Colton confirmed my rental was canceled due to having zero cars in stock (AFTER A 45 MINUTE WAIT). 10 minutes later, Colton proposed the idea of an all electric car that was HALF CHARGED & said that I’d need to find a charging station immediately after renting or I’d not make my destination. How unprofessional to not guarantee a reliable and safe rental by offering one that is HALF CHARGED. Being unfamiliar with electric vehicles & charging, I declined. Colton immediately retorted “well that’s all I have so you’ll have to take it or have nothing, so what’s your answer?” I left. This level of customer service is absolutely unacceptable. I expected professional service, but instead experienced delays topped with Colton’s rude, smug attitude. One of the worst rental and Customer Service experiences I’ve ever had.

  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Enterprise. Not only did I spend an entire day waiting for a rental vehicle, but I was repeatedly told that no cars were available. When I finally went into the office and waited for a vehicle to become available, the car they offered me was in unacceptable condition. It smelled strongly of marijuana, the seats were torn, and I was sitting on the waiting area when the previous renter had already complained about the vehicle. When I explained that I could not drive a car with such a strong odor, I was told they had already used an odor treatment, despite the smell still being overwhelming. When I requested a different vehicle, I was told the only option was a truck and that I would have to pay extra with no exceptions. Left with no choice, I paid the additional cost. Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. The truck was given to me with little to no gas, and to make matters worse, it had a nail in one of the tires. The employee who handed me the truck was aware of the issue because the system indicated a flat tire warning, but he did not seem concerned and simply brushed it off because it was after 6 PM. As a result, after wasting an entire day trying to get a rental vehicle, I ended up stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire. This level of customer service is completely unacceptable. I expected a safe, reliable rental vehicle and professional service, but instead I experienced delays, poor vehicle conditions, additional unexpected costs, and a serious safety issue. This was one of the worst rental experiences I have ever had
