  I used to love Grease Monkey and trusted them with my oil changes, inspections, and other car maintenance. Unfortunately, my last experience completely changed my mind. A few weeks ago, I went in because my brakes were squealing. They told me I only needed new brakes, so I had them replaced. About a week later, the new brakes started squealing again, even louder than before. When I took my car back, I was told they would not warranty the brakes because I did not replace the rotors. The problem is, no one told me I needed new rotors when they originally did the brake job. If replacing the rotors was necessary for the brakes to work properly or be covered under warranty, that should have been explained before I paid for the service. Now I am out the money I spent on new brakes, and my brakes are louder than they were before. I no longer feel that Grease Monkey stands behind their work or fully explains important information to their customers. Sadly, after being a loyal customer for years, I will not be returning.

  Grease Monkeys is an outstanding service station. Every mechanic I have encountered has been professional, honest, and trustworthy. I have never felt taken advantage of or scammed here, and their pricing has always been fair. The mechanics are knowledgeable and deliver excellent customer service; my repairs are completed promptly, and I have always been satisfied with their work.

  I had the best experience getting my car inspected there. I’m always nervous that I’m going to be bombarded with a list of extra expenses but I wasn’t! I felt welcomed. I was planning on getting an oil change later by my mechanic but your technician (I think his name was Bart) talked me into getting it done there and I was very happy that I did.

  (Note for this review, I did get a call back from Mark at Grease Monkey. He was very calm and understanding on the phone. Everyone agrees that no one wants a bad experience, but they do happen occasionally. It looks like the time listed in the system and the time we were actually there differed. We were offered a discount the next time we would come in as well, which we appreciate. I am leaving the 3 star review as is since I aren't able to give a 3.5, and Google lists a 3 as a "Good" rating.) Went in for a pinhole on the center of the tire to be plugged and patched. They were able to do the job successfully. That said, when I asked what the price would be a couple days earlier I was told it would be 40-45 dollars. When I went in for the actual service they said it would be $60 instead. (The $60 was correct, but seemed pricy). Additionally, took 2 hours for the patch to be completed. We weren't the only ones waiting long times there, but it wasn't busy. Only 3 cars there at the time. Would rate higher, but the price info as well as the time it took to patch a single pinhole is what caused the lower review. (Still rated 3/5 "Good" rating) Would still come back if needed.
