Picked up a car from here because this is where our warranty company booked it. Car was disgusting inside and out and we were told they didn’t have any other vehicles. The detailer was sitting down relaxing and it was evident they hadn’t touched this car when it was returned. Stains all over the steering wheel , vents broken , sears stained (they are leather ) so they could have easily been wiped down. Also the car doesn’t even have floor mats. When asked where they were we we were told there aren’t any. I have never been so disgusted with an enterprise. Very disappointed. As they use to be the top notch go to rental company.

I am requesting urgent escalation regarding a billing and service issue with my recent rental reservation.
I specifically asked that the rental balance be charged to a different card, but both charges were placed on my Wells Fargo card. This created a serious issue with the $300 pre-authorization that I need resolved before the 23rd.
I also want to be clear about the so-called “upgrade.” The staff repeatedly referred to the vehicle as an upgrade, but I did not request or authorize an upgrade as a separate choice. More importantly, it did not feel like an upgrade for my needs. I expected a vehicle with enough practical space for my toddler and our belongings, and the vehicle I received felt smaller and less suitable than what I needed. Calling it an “upgrade” does not accurately reflect my experience.
The vehicle was also not in acceptable condition. It was dirty, had visible debris/cigarette burn damage, and I experienced rumbling while driving. The location attempted to make amends by giving me a free tank of gas, and I still returned the vehicle with about half a tank as a gesture of appreciation. Given the unresolved billing issue and the condition of the vehicle, I now regret doing that.
I am asking Enterprise to refund the charge on my Wells Fargo card and charge the correct Capital One card instead, if possible. I am also asking for the vehicle condition, the “upgrade” confusion, and the billing handling to be reviewed by someone who can resolve this before the 23rd.
*Update paycheck came in early I'll deal with it myself, a refund will be the only thing that brings me back or change my rating seeing that im doing the heavy lifting after acting in good faith. I travel often and have avoided rentals due to how complicated they seem at a distance. Now that I've experienced the complicated part I'm shook and won't be returning without remedy, just business.

Made online reservation for 12pm. Got a discount though my auto insurance. When I got there they were closing (12pm). Associate said I would not get the deal i had an appointment for because I didnt make the reservation 24hrs in advance...owner- is this true? If so, why does the website allow me to make that deal? Went down the street (concord Pkwy location). The associate, Kale asked how he could help. He had a car and had me out in 10 mins....at the online price that I had an appointment for. Kannapolis location bad customer service.

I am beyond frustrated with the way my reservation was handled between the Kannapolis and Salisbury Enterprise locations.
I made a reservation for a large SUV over a month ago. When I arrived at the Salisbury location today at my scheduled pickup time of 5:30 PM, I was told that someone with my “same” name had already used my reservation. That means somewhere along the line, an employee released MY reserved vehicle to the wrong person without properly verifying identification or reservation details.
Because of this mistake, I was left with no vehicle options except a 15-passenger van — which is completely unreasonable compared to what I reserved. Not only is this vehicle far larger than what I need, but it also lacks the features I specifically reserved the SUV for and will cost me significantly more in gas.
This was not a last-minute reservation. I planned ahead over a month in advance specifically to avoid situations like this, yet due to employee negligence and poor verification procedures, I’m now the one paying the price for Enterprise’s mistake.
I would like an explanation for how my reservation was released to someone else, what steps are being taken to correct this issue, and what compensation Enterprise intends to offer for the inconvenience, increased fuel costs, and downgrade in overall experience.
