  I stopped by Mavis Tire to have a screw in my tire checked after driving through a construction site. Chris was outstanding! He quickly inspected the tire and found that the screw was very small and hadn't punctured it. He was honest, professional, and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. It's refreshing to find a business with employees who put customers first. Thank you, Chris, for the excellent service!

  I truly can’t thank Kevin and his crew enough. My car unexpectedly needed a new starter, and even though the shop was incredibly busy, Kevin went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. He knew how much I needed my car, and instead of pushing me to another day, he made it happen. What could have been a really stressful situation turned into one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had. Thank you for your kindness, hard work, and for genuinely caring. You all truly saved the day, and I’ll always be grateful. Highly recommend!

  Very happy with recent tire service on my 2019 Impala. Their late closing time allowed me to get last minute mount and balance of 4 tires and rims. Jorden busted his butt! Plus, he noticed a nail in the replacement tire that could have ruined my trip the next day. I typically only trust my service to the dealership but this experience gained my trust for future work with Mavis in Jacksonville. I would recommend them.

  I had no idea there was more than one MAVIS in the area, but I’m really happy I found this location. I came in needing pretty much everything – new tires, brake pads, an alignment, and labor. At another shop nearby, I was quoted nearly the same price for used tires. Here, I got brand new tires, plus all the other work, for more than half of what my dealership charges. And compared to other local spots? Easily 15–20% less. They’re a true one-stop shop. The team worked quick and smooth, and I really appreciated that no one talked down to me or made me feel like I didn’t understand my own car (which sadly happens a lot as a woman). They explained everything in basic terms, showed me the itemized list which was simple and straight to the point and I loved that they included actual pictures of the car parts. Super helpful. I brought my laptop, sat down, and got work done while they handled my vehicle. The waiting area is clean, with two separate seating sections, AC that works almost too well (it can get pretty chilly if you’re there over an hour, but stepping outside fixes that fast), and free WiFi, which made the wait comfortable. There’s a TV for some background noise, but otherwise it’s peaceful - no loud chaos. The only thing missing for me was a snack or a drink option. They do have a water machine with cups, so you won’t go thirsty, but a vending machine or two would push this place over the top. Hopefully a small business can partner with them on that. Location-wise, it’s great: Food Lion right behind the shop, plus seafood, BBQ, Chinese, and Mexican spots all within a 2 - 3 minute walk. The owner came out and introduced himself, shared some background, and I left feeling like I could genuinely trust them with my car. I’ll update in a few months if anything comes up, but so far highly recommend.
