Today I had the most incredible experience at a tire store of my entire life. We had a tire that kept showing that it was losing air. My wife took it to a local shop near us to have it looked at. The representative told her the tire had a nail through it and it was in an unrepairable spot. Furthermore, we would have to replace all the tires because of it being an all wheel drive vehicle. The cost would have exceeded $1,800. The Michelin tire was new and under warranty, so I called Michelin to see if there was anything we could do. They referred us to Mavis Tires and Brakes on Statesville Road in Huntersville, NC to have it inspected. Joseph, the manager came outside and crawled under the vehicle and found new issues. He then recommended we take it inside, remove it and have his technician check it further. The technician found a small nail in the middle of the tread. 10 minutes later it was repaired. They went out of their way at 4:45 in 95 degree heat. BTW, the A/C was out as well, so none of the employees were getting any relief, yet they made a first time customer feel like their best and most important customer. They now have a customer for life.

I had an amazing experience at this tire shop! Ken was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything, broke down the entire process in a way that was easy to understand, and made sure I knew exactly what was needed to get my vehicle back on the road.
What stood out most was his professionalism, knowledge, and commitment to excellent customer service. He executed everything efficiently and made sure I was in and out in a timely manner without sacrificing quality. I couldn’t be more please with the service I received here at Mavis at their Huntersville statesville location. Willy and Josh were amazing and worked very hard to make sure our car was safe to drive. To save the best for last, the store manager Joseph!!!! customer service and rapport is beyond anything we have ever experienced at a car repair shop. He made my family and I feel like we were family. I cannot recommend Mavis at the Huntersville location enough for the best services and experience.

We had an unexpected emergency while traveling through the area when our brakes suddenly started grinding without warning. Our group was pretty large—my wife and I, our great-grandmother, mother-in-law, two kids, and even our three dogs—so it was a stressful situation to say the least.
We brought the vehicle into Mavis Tire and were immediately taken care of by Joseph and Ken. They were incredibly helpful, welcoming, and didn’t waste any time getting us in for inspection. They clearly explained what was going on, showed us the actual wear on the brake pads and rotors so we could see for ourselves, and walked us through the repair options without any pressure.
Zach, the service technician, worked efficiently and got everything completed quickly and correctly. The whole team really came through for us when we needed it most. On top of everything, they even helped us find an online coupon we didn’t know about, which was a thoughtful touch we really appreciated.
In a stressful travel situation, this kind of honest, fast, and professional service makes all the difference. If you need brakes, tires, or just solid automotive help, I highly recommend this location.
