  VIOC N. Main has been my go-to place for oil changes for the past nine years. I have stayed through changes in managers, staff, and ownership, but today was different. I arrived at 7:20 a.m. When the store opened, the employee on duty came out and said it would likely be a while before they could service my vehicle because the manager was running late. When I asked how late, he said she lived some distance away and was usually 20 to 30 minutes late. I told him I was not upset with him, but that this was not an acceptable excuse. I decided to wait. The manager finally arrived at 8:00 a.m., checked me in, and my oil change was completed in less than 15 minutes. However, there was no apology or acknowledgment for the delay. As a business manager myself, I believe that if someone cannot be on time to open the business, they should make other arrangements or assign the opening process to someone else. Customers should not have to wait because of a lack of responsibility in that role.

  Have been a regular customer for several years and brought my vehicle in for inspection. They indicated it failed due to wipers streaking and offered to sell me a new premium pair. I declined and went to another shop nearby for a second opinion (Strickland Brothers) and my vehicle passed inspection. That attendant said there were no issues with the wipers. Not sure what to think of Valvoline’s business practices.

  I have been going for 7 years but today it took them over a hour for a simple oil change.

  Come in for inspection 3rd back 6 employees 50 minutes later one has been sitting in my truck for over 15 minutes not comfortable with that very slow been coming here for year's just seems to get worse 2 out there chit chatting not sure how they stay in business

  Inspection time! In and out in under 15 mins!!! Great service. DANYALE did a great job.
