  Slow, They close the fast pass lane that you pay for and then ur 5 cars behind stuck waiting on 1 car while worker Is on the tablet tryna figure it out, Slow annoying don't recommend

  I was thinking about changing car washes, so I gave Zips a try. I got there most expensive wash, Premier, hoping for the best. But after the wash my windshield look like it had never been washed, bugs all over it. I know in the past they used to spray your windshield and sometimes use a brush to clean your windshield and headlights. They did not do it this time, and I can tell. When did they stop doing this? I don't want to get a car wash and still not be able to see how my windshield. There's a new car wash being built right up the street, guess I had to give it a try!

  1 star 👎 👎 Zips Car Wash in Hickory, NC is terribly managed and poorly maintained. Today was the last straw. Cars were backed up all the way to the road, and we waited about 30 minutes just to get through the membership line while one girl outside was left trying to handle both lines by herself. Several customers were frustrated, and some gave up and left. Once I finally got through, multiple parts of the wash did not work. My tires were not cleaned, the tire shine did not work, the dryer did not properly dry the front of my car, and the vacuums were not working either. On top of that, the parking lot was filthy, with trash all over the place. The worst part was going inside and seeing two guys sitting in the office while one employee was overwhelmed outside and traffic was backed up to the road. When I asked why nobody was helping her, I got a shrug and an “oh well” response. That kind of attitude is exactly why this place is in such bad shape. We will not keep paying for this level of service. Unless something changes, Zips has lost our business on both vehicles.

  Brought our Jeep in and got the "premier" wash (highest priced wash they offer)... Jeep came out somewhat cleaner on the hood and doors.... the front grille didn't even look like it had been washed at all and the back looked like it was partially washed... if that was the premier wash I'd hate to see what the lower priced washes come out looking like 🤨🤦‍♀️

  During my wash here there was a big F150 in front of me.It was almost over the rails. So As we were going through the wash. the rollers had more and more trouble controlling the truck.As we got to the middle the truck got stuck. Therefore, I was stuck but the car behind me was still coming.Finally, the alarm went off and the washer stopped. This was in the middle. Then the washer started again and it got us almost to the end. When the rollers quit moving us but the car behind me kept coming again. No alarm went off. When the wash suddenly started up again the truck and I were almost out. As the truck was getting ready to leave he got stuck in the rollers. you would think a 4x4 F150 would ignore the wait sign with another car about to hit him. Meanwhile I’m stuck temporarily at the dryer. I have a SUV. That blower started and sitting there it blew my windshield wiper blade up. I thought it was going to break but luckily it went back down. Meanwhile the truck was still spinning its wheels. Finally he went out. The rollers got me almost to the end and stopped. The rollers were just spinning again. The wait sign was lite. But the car behind me was coming fast. I sat there for a few seconds and then I used my 4x4 to get out of there. Once the truck and I was gone I think all the problems were gone. But it was all kinda scary to me. The loud alarm, the truck getting stuck, my windshield wiper blade coming up in the air. I have a RAV4. So it’s a normal SUV. Then more fun. This was the first Zips I have ever been too that didn’t have the folded clean rags and the multi-spray cleaner. And I looked for the cart. Usually it’s on a cart. It was the last time I visited this location and at all the other Zips I have been too. I believe free vacuums and multi- cleaner are supposed to be supplied.??? And the vacuum area was quite a site. The things you put the vacuums in are hard to get in and out. When I was finished mine would not go back in. I made a picture. There are all kind of things going on at the vacuum area. Once again I included pictures. Not very impressive. And the owner really needs to spend some money not only on the vacuum area but on their signs. Once again I took a picture. I knew mere words would never do it justice. I’m still giving this Zips a 2. Because they sprayed the front of my car before I entered the wash.
