  This place is the most ridiculous and worst service we’ve ever had. The last 3 times I’ve been, they told me we had a car reserved and then we go and there’s no information. They’ve lost it 3 times. Highly recommend nobody comes here unless you just want to be pissed off. They suck 👎🏼

  DO NOT RENT FROM ENTERPRISE HICKORY, NC…. I completed a rental car agreement on April 18th-April 20th, just enough to be able to meet up with family in friends in Kentucky. On the way home I had not one flat tire on the car but two. I called enterprise after hours number at 2:06 am in the morning. They stated that since I already used the one donut tire on the car, there is nothing they could do until the next morning because I was 84 miles away from home and they only tow up to 50. To let them tow the car to nearest enterprise, for me to get hotel room. And see about getting another rental later. I used my own AAA to get home. I bought two new tires in which Mr Tire said it was no damage of my own, that they were dry rotted and it was the sidewall on both tires. When returning the car, I spoke with Alexis and she said that I would not be billed for the rental until they figured out how to get the $285.05 back to me for the tires. Both have now been posted on my credit cards. The rental and the tires. She also stated that she would make sure I would get my money back one way or another. I gave it a week and called back. Then they tell me they are going to contact Mr Tire to see about reversing my charge and put it on the corporate account they have with them. Never happened! Then I call back and Alexis states that there is nothing she can do that it is above her now to her district manager to do refund, but I will get it back on way or another. I told her that I would be contacting corporate. She told me to go ahead, they won’t do anything anyway. Then I call corporate, they advised me on 5/4 at 9:07am that she is going to escalate my case and that I would get a call back in 24 hours. Today is 5/9 and have not received anything. I called back to corporate today and was spoke to rudely, said I was going to have to wait and was disconnected on. I was advised I would get my tire money back and also refunded for my rental on that weekend and have received absolutely nothing but a hard time. Have three trips scheduled with Enterprise rental car and will be considering other options in May, June, and July for vacations.

  Beware of rental cars in Hickory. Big disappointment. Avis/Budget at the mall has run down older cars with check engine lights and low tires. Hickory Enterprise on 127 has a mechanic and a car wash. The cars are older and smell like smoke. I wish people would not smoke in a rental. Be considerate of the next person. The Enterprise staff is professional. They are very under staffed. The staff makes the experience better. Thank you for a courtesy ride to the mall.

  Shelby is awesome! I came in and there was a discrepancy between the online inventory and their bookings. Needless to say Shelby found a solution and turned a stressful situation around. This helped me get what I needed to get to work. I'll have more rentals for work or play in the future and because of her help it will be with Enterprise and not your competitors.

  I don't know what has changed at the Hickory Enterprise location, but I have never had such issues. I have used Enterprise Corporate for 20 years. They tried to put me in a car with bald tires, and admitted it was non-compliant when I questioned it. I had to return the vehicle they put me in because it was dirty and had been smoked in. The manager, Josh, was dismissive and extremely unprofessional. I am currently at Budget/Avis at Valley Hills Mall, and the difference in customer care is staggering.
