  On 6/23/2026, I made an online appointment for 1:00 PM for an oil change and NC State vehicle inspection at the Mr. Tire store at 401 N. Elm street in Greensboro, NC and checked the box indicating that I would wait rather than drop off. I received a text "Your appointment has been confirmed at our Mr. Tire store on Tuesday, June 23 at 1:00 PM" and an email "The appointment for your vehicle has been confirmed at our 401 N. Elm Street store." I arrived at the store at approximately 12:55 PM and advised the attendant that I had a 1:00 PM appointment for an oil change and NC State inspection. He stated that there was going to be a wait. I asked "what about my appointment?" He said "Those are taken somewhere in Asia and we don't get any notice" That was a mind numbing answer. I decided to wait and my vehicle was not finished until 3:30. I will take my business elsewhere next time I need service.

  I really tried to give them another chance, but it failed . 2 1/2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. 188. 00 dollars for an oil change is pathetic. Never again and all 4 of our cars want either . Sadly .

  Always the best. Checked low tire pressure without appointment, and diagnosed/fixed leaking valve that afternoon. Best and friendliest mechanics and office guys in town

  I had a flat tire and got my car towed here. I called before hand and spoke to the manager to confirm that the tire was in stock. After I got it towed here they proceeded to tell me I have to get the RECOMMENDED speed rating and they wouldn’t install it they tire we talked about previously. So instead of 125$ per tire it went to 325$ per tire. ABSOLUTELY NOT. If that’s the case they should’ve told me that beforehand especially considering I told them I’m towing it up there. So instead I’ll get another tow and go to Firestone on west market who said theyll do it. The 2 tows plus the tire from Firestone will be cheaper than the 1 tire from Mr tire. TERRIBLE BUSINESS & a complete waste of time.

  They were not friendly, seemed to dislike their job, and told me my car wasn't made for people like me....I was so offended. The attitude was non chalant and matter of fact. I can't speak on their work because the light came on, as soon as I drove back home. I just gave them 72.00 which was weird because they told me 124 or something like that for a diagnostic, the receipt shows they did the diagnostic but ,charged me less, no complaint on paying less but it's weird. I'm very surprised because they seem to be in business for a long time but, they must just do the bare minimum to stay in business. I will not be back so take your chance.
