  I made an appointment on-line for an oil change. Upon arrival, I was told it would be a wait because two technicians were out. However, I did not expect an over two-hour delay! Anyway, I believed the technician performed the oil change that I requested. He was very cordial even when presenting me with a bill that was almost $40 over the quoted price. There were so many “unexpected” charges that I had to question them. Just to name one, there was a $6.00 plus charge for “shop supplies”. When asked about it, I was told it was probably for a paper towel used to check the oil! Anyway, the manager was informed of my outrage and conceded to taking a mere $10 off the price. He didn’t even have the courtesy to speak with me. If the service is going to be substantially over the advertised price, consumers should know before hand. If customers are going to be swindled out of their money, just tell them upfront before the service is performed. I won’t be going back!

  This place could not replace a leaking valve stem on a tire bc my tires had a little dry rot. Not bad at all. Very minor cracking. The tires are old and I will get them replaced when they are completely worn out. You can believe it won't be at Mr. Tires. The car is 22 yrs old and in better shape than most cars on the road. The clown in the front was even surprised how nice it was. When I came back after 2hrs and no phone call my car is on the lift with the hood up. Why is the hood up to change a valve stem on a tire. They didn't want to do a little $27 job they want to up sell you a new set of tires or have the one little worker do another car that they can make more money. This old car doesn't get driven to Florida just around town so the very minor dry rot is nothing. This car shop/tire place is the place that your dads warned you about. Ladies especially don't go here. No telling what they will sell you and the bill will be. Very Shady place. Went to Bruno tire on Gate city and he fixed the valve stem in five minutes for $20. This place should be checked out by the BBB. Over priced and the clown at the front desk is just trying to upsell. He is a know it all and motor mouth! STAY FAR FAR AWAY! ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE A FEMALE!
