    I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received at Enterprise. I came in on Friday, July 3rd, for an insurance replacement rental after an accident. The representative, Tevin, told me I needed to “set my reservation up.” When I asked how I was supposed to do that, he said they were supposed to call me with a day and time. He then told me they had no availability but that he should have something for me on Monday. Tevin also mentioned that there were four Enterprise locations in Greensboro, so I asked if he could check the other locations for availability. He told me no, he could not do that. I then asked if he could call another location, and his response was essentially that it would be the same as me calling around myself and that I could do it on my own. That was extremely frustrating. I came to Enterprise as a customer with an insurance rental reservation after being involved in an accident. I should not have to personally call around to multiple Enterprise locations trying to locate a vehicle, especially when I am already dealing with the stress and inconvenience of an accident. I was told I would hear something, but no one ever called me. I had to call back myself, only to be told by Tevin that they did not have any vehicles available within my insurance company’s $30-per-day allowance and that I could pay the difference for a more expensive vehicle. I explained that I should not have to come out of pocket simply because the location does not currently have a vehicle available within the covered rate. I also explained that I am familiar with Enterprise’s rental process because I previously worked for Enterprise. I know that there are ways to work with and accommodate a customer with an existing insurance replacement reservation and, when appropriate, switch the customer into another vehicle later when one becomes available. What is most disappointing is the complete lack of effort, empathy, and basic customer service throughout this entire experience. At no point did I feel like Tevin was interested in helping me find a solution. There was no offer to check nearby availability, no attempt to contact another location, no proactive follow-up, and no call as promised. Instead, I was repeatedly left to figure everything out myself or pay extra. An insurance replacement rental is not someone casually shopping for a rental car for vacation. I am in this situation because of an accident, which is already stressful enough. I expected Enterprise to make the process easier, not add another layer of frustration. As a former Enterprise employee, I am especially disappointed because this is not the level of customer service I expected from the company. I should not have to repeatedly advocate for basic assistance just to get the rental vehicle my insurance coverage is intended to provide. This entire experience has been dismissive, unhelpful, and unnecessarily frustrating. I expected much better from Enterprise.

    My insurance arranged the rental car for me. Everything went smoothly, I see why Enterprise was used. The staff is efficient and the car was a newer model. Experience was seamless.

    I had to add a photo and this is all I had after using for a week and a dirty side mirror lol. Sorry!!! My recent trip was April 27th and thus is my 3rd rental from the gate city Merritt Dr location. I was set up with a Toyota hybrid SUV and it was so great on gas. I've always dealt with Miles and he is honestly so easy to deal with and extremely helpful. My original trip was supposed to be 2 days. I've been renting bc of going to see my dad thats been very sick and this time he was back in the hospital. I ended up extending the rental 2 more times so it equalled a week. I wasn't expecting that so when I called Miles and told him what was going on he reassured me everything was fine and to call him back in the morning and we could extend it. We'll that was the first time. By Thursday I was in the same shape and had to extend again and ended up all together and kept the rental a week. He knows why I have been renting and he really has been very empathetic to my situation with a very sick dad. The last thing a person wants to do is to worry about the vehicle getting back when you didn't expect things to go that way. He was also reassuring m, told me not to worry and take care of what I needed to and everything would be okay. I absolutely love dealing with Miles and I already have a reservation for later this week to go back to visit with my dad. I appreciate all that you do and the kindness you've shown and the ease of not having to rush back, Miles you're my go to guy for sure. See you this week. All car rental agencies need more people like Miles. Easy to talk to and he gets things done fast so I don't have to worry. That's like last thing you want to happen is to have to worry while dealing with a sick parent out of state. Thanks again.A+Rental,experience, customer service and care!!
