- CMCharles T Montgomery3 days ago1.0This was the worst interaction I have ever received at this store due to a service rep/associated named Mark. This guy "THINKS" he knows EVERYTHING about batteries that I purchased from Advance a year ago but didn't know they were 6 volt and didn't know how to test them. Thank goodness for Josh who came to my rescue and was able to help with the transaction. Mark on the other hand was very obnoxious and rude and definitely doesn't need to be dealing with the public. You received a 1 star because of your employee not the store.

Some places the employees just look at you, but not here. That was the first thing. The manager Kat was very pleasant while she was helping a customer at the counter. I could hear their conversation as I was looking down the aisle for a part. When I got to the counter I was just happy to have a friendly and genuine conversation with her. She has a great personality and a wonderful staff. It’s nice to see that people still care to give good customer service and show that they care about their job as well. I will always come back to this advance, and I will send my family and friends as well. Thank you again for being kind and caring people.

Went in for transmission fluid and made that known but wanted a paper towel or piece of tissue to wipe off my dip stick. Older bearded man said they didn't have it but wanted to sell me some they had on the shelf when I know for sure that they at least have a bathroom. Told him I would use my hand as I checked the price of the Valvoline Dex VI....$15.99. Immediately looked online and saw that the Walmart...in the same complex...had the exact same Valvoline Dex VI for $7.97. I would've bought the way more expensive fluid and some other menial items had I not been tried to be up sold for a piece of tissue that the man lied about. I know my dollar is a drop in the bucket but it will not be dropped in a money hungry place such as this.

Without even flinching the kid said "we don't install batteries, its a liability thing" I bought the battery and noticed the sign that said free installation. The "guy" that was helping me at this point looked for every reason to notcinstall my battery, he did not. I asked for loaner tools to install my own battery and when I got to the point that I needed an SAE socket he said "that's corporate, thats all we have" only metric? Terrible. I have always preferred Advance Auto , however, this being my second negative experience at this store, I will not be going back.delivering poor service nicely is still poor service. Thanks for nothing!!!
