- PWPaul WatsonDec 4, 20122.0I would like to state I bought a battery from them, and it was a great battery I had it installed and my friend came with me, he never spoke to the guy putting in my battery, but I had a connection problem, because the young hispanic guy didnt clean them off right the connections, when I went back the hispanic store manager told me he wouldn't help me because, I even saw the young guy that put my battery in, I wasn't the person that purchased the battery, Im puerto rican btw, and then he even argued with me in the store and out front as I was trying to show him my receipt and my ID to prove I was the person regardless it was there battery less than two weeks later from purchase and if my wife would have bought it or I bought it for her car why would he not help her or myself. He was very abrasive, brash and then even asked another person to help me, because he refused to see my receipt. The older gentleman was excellent and very helpful and when the manager did take two seconds to look at my car he told me I was at fault and several other things wrong and when the other older gentelman came out he said the opposite with those things the manager stated and my car was working fine. If you go there expect poor service and don't ask for the manager he will make it only worse

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
