  ⭐ 1/5 Stars — Very Disappointing Customer Service I had a very disappointing experience at Mr. Tire in Gastonia, NC, and I will not be returning to this location. I stopped by to have air put in my tire, as Mr. Tire offers free tire inflation. When I arrived, I was instructed by an employee to pull into the first bay, which I did. However, when she approached my window, she told me she would get the air hose out for me. I was confused because every time I've gone somewhere for this service, an employee has assisted me with putting air in my tire. When I explained this, she told me they were busy and offered to teach me how to do it myself, stating that it would only take two minutes. What really bothered me was when she asked whether I would rather be "independent or non independent." I found that comment unnecessary and unprofessional. I had just finished working all day, and I simply wanted assistance with a service I came there expecting to receive, not a lecture about independence. She then told me to give her 15 minutes and she would put air in my tire. At that point, I was already frustrated. I had gone out of my way to stop at this location, I don't live in Gastonia, and I still had a 30-minute drive home to Shelby. I told her not to worry about it and decided to leave. She responded by saying "no, no," seemingly trying to get me to stay, but I had already made up my mind. As I was leaving, she gave what appeared to be a dismissive shrug or gesture, which only added to my frustration. I understand businesses get busy, and I have no problem with employees communicating that there may be a wait. However, there is a professional and respectful way to speak to customers. The comments about independence, the overall attitude, and the way the situation was handled were completely unnecessary. What should have been a simple stop for air in my tire turned into an unpleasant experience. I could have saved myself the trip and gone somewhere closer to home. I will not be returning to this Mr. Tire location. Customer service matters, even when the service being offered is free. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that I left without getting the air my tire needed, and now I can only hope I make it safely to another tire shop without anything happening to my tire. What should have been a quick, simple service turned into an unnecessary inconvenience.

  Called up and made appointment for 2 tires. The Call center said they would reserve them and have them in-stock when i get there. All the while I have a nail in my tire. I manage to get there and the desk says they dont have those tires in stock. Then they say I have to drive 20 minutes to a different mr tire amthat does have the tire. So my problem is I was told the tires were in stock and then when I get there they say they don't have them. Lying to customers is not a good way to keep business.

  Set up an appointment online. I wrote in detail what I needed. They approved the appointment. Got there and they were RUDE and said they didn't do that and their technician didn't show. Erica is a rude you know what. Never doing business there again!
