  There are unreasonably long wait times even when you book a reservation weeks in advance. I waited two hours to pick up a car. There was a line out the door because they are severely understaffed. The worst location. Unreliable and not dependable!

  If I could give this place a negative rating and enterprise company as a whole I would. We booked a month in advance and was told to get the SUV at 12pm 7-3-26. Arrived at the place to be told that the suv was not there and they would call us when it was ready. The SUV never showed up to the lot and they ended up getting this van…. We took it because we had no choice since we needed the space. We left out this morning and the van didn’t make it 5 miles down the road and broke down on me. Contacted enterprise told them we was broke down and we needed another vehicle. The only thing the person that I spoke with at enterprise was worried about was the vehicle and if it was in a safe location for the towing company to get it. Was not whatsoever concerned about the well being of the customer and not even worried about getting us into another ride. Just was worried about the vehicle the whole time. We had to end up getting our own Uber getting all our bags loaded into it and back home. I called Enterprise again to ask them to accommodate us with another vehicle and they could not guarantee we would be able to get the same size Vehicle. So after making a reservation one month out didn’t get the vehicle we asked for was put into a van, then broke down. On the side of the road, then still act like they cannot accommodate our needs after everything that happened. Then put into a smaller vehicle force to just make it work.Enterprise I hope that you go bankrupt and out of business if this is how you treat customers. and anybody that reads this comment has any kind of common sense I would not use enterprise and definitely would not use the location in Gastonia. Will never use this place and enterprise ever again.

  Confirmed reservation but no car and they could care less. They said that they have no control over what is reserved and had no idea if a car would ever be available. Advised me to keep calling back to see if there was one returned. I asked if there was anyway they could call and let me know vs. me guessing when a car was returned. She said she could add me to the call back list. Didn’t offer this at first. Didn’t matter. They never called and I never got a car. Ended up paying $900 for a U-Haul for a week

  The only reason I have left 2 stars is because the people at the Gastonia NC branch are BEYOND PHENOMENAL!!! Roadside, not so much... actually, not at all!!! They did NOTHING for over 4 hours! I had to keep calling back and was told the same thing every time, which was basically nothing!!! Again, the Gastonia NC branch were great ...beyond great! I recommend that branch completely.

  Wow! I’ve now been here for an hour waiting on a car. I rent cars from enterprise twice every three months. I needed a large vehicle that wasn’t available in Belmont. I knew better than to trust this place with my time. The lobby is full, one person on at the counter. Everyone is waiting on cars? I get it’s a “service”. Moving forward I’ll travel 15 additional minutes and go to the air port, unless I find out it’s operated by the same group. Desk clerk “I don’t know what they do in Matthew’s but here in Gastonia we _____”. This experience has been crazy! I still need a car.
