- CCCraigApr 29, 20261.0Walked in this store today. I wasn’t greeted or helped in any kinda way. A employee was literally sitting in a rolling chair AT THE FRONT COUNTER…… AND HE TOTALLY ignored me! I actually stood for about a minute or two….. just to see if he would even say something. He never acknowledged me not one time. So my question is to Advance Auto…. Why would your employee ignore me? Is it because of the color of my skin.?? Was it because I was rocking my Afro today? Or maybe because I had on flip flops…. I’ll make sure to let evey colored person Ik to NEVER spend money with Advance Auto…

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
