- SLStanley LorfilsSep 14, 20262.0Manager Logan was friendly and professional, and they got me in and out in a timely manner. During the light inspection, Logan stated that my left rear brake light was out. When I got home, I checked it myself and the brake light was working properly. I believe there may have been some confusion with the bottom-left section of the lens, which is the turn signal rather than the brake light. I also had to reset the maintenance reminder myself after getting home, which was no big deal. My main concern was noticing a couple of oil drops on my garage floor after I got home. I inspected underneath the engine and found fresh oil around the oil filter, with some oil sprayed underneath the frame and onto parts near the inside of the tires. After cleaning the area with brake cleaner, I found no active leak. I also noticed fresh oil on the engine manifold and air intake box cover. Based on where the oil was located, it appears it may have been overspray or spillage during the final oil top-off, which then ran down toward the filter, frame, and surrounding components. Nothing against the employees—everyone was friendly and professional. I just think a little more attention to detail during the final inspection and cleanup would help prevent issues like this. I’ll need to clean the engine bay with GUNk engine degreaser to make sure the spilled oil doesn’t burn off or create an odor. Overall, good service and friendly staff, but the oil cleanup and final inspection need some improvement.
