  I’ve always come to Valvoline but just recently moved to the area. Came to the one in garner today, Keyes helped get Carmelo (my Camry) right with an oil change at a great price, and educated me on maintenance and follow up. Even though he didn’t let me know I had a booger in my nose, it’s all good though. Whole team is top tier, appreciate yall :))

  Yesterday I stopped at this Valvoline to get my oil changed for the first time. The technicians were friendly and had a general customer oriented attitude. Unfortunately, their training was severely lacking. They figured out that they did not have the oil necessary for my diesel pick up after they took the old oil out. I had to sit there for an hour waiting for a manager to go to another store to get the proper oil and come back. They did offer me a small discount for my trouble, but it was the same discount that any customer can get with an online coupon, nothing special. Then, this morning I figured out that they didn’t do any of the inspections that they said they did on the paperwork. My windshield washer fluid was still low, and it clearly says on the paperwork that it was refilled. The oil life indicator was not reset and tire pressures were not checked. I had to return there this morning to have the service actually completed. No manager was available to speak to, I guess she doesn’t open the store. As sorry as the technician was for the trouble, I definitely will not be going back to Valvoline in Garner. Update 4/29: Valvoline reached out to me after this review. They claim they will review the video footage of my service with the employees and train or take corrective action. They also offered me a coupon for a future visit. I’ll give them credit for responding to the issue.

  We went to get an oil change, and the service here was awesome! They were quick, efficient, and polite. Ty especially was professional and friendly! 10/10 experience, we will be back in 3-4 months!

  After they changed my air filter, my car started making a loud roaring noise. They couldn't fix it. The manager actually told me they weren't mechanics and told me to go to Firestone to get it fix but didn't offer any type of compensation or apology. Now I have an added expense because of them. I will never go back and don't recommend them.
