- KKK KJul 1, 20261.0AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS - Cole is a complete scam artist! DO NOT take your car to this Valvoline in Fuquay, especially if you need a state inspection. I had the misfortune of having "Cole" perform my inspection, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. My car failed for the most ridiculous, nitpicky reason that any reasonable shop would have overlooked or given me a warning about. But here's the kicker - Cole didn't even have the common courtesy to come find me and explain what failed. He just let me sit there like an idiot, processed the failure, and then happily took my money for a failed inspection! No heads up, no "hey, you might want to fix this first," nothing. Just a silent failure and a hand out for my cash. This is nothing but a money grab operation preying on people who need inspections. If you fail, they still get paid, so what incentive do they have to actually help you pass? If Cole is working that day, turn around and leave. Actually, just avoid this entire location. Go to literally anywhere else that has basic human decency and will actually communicate with you. This place is a complete waste of time and money. Zero stars if I could.

Got busy afterwards and about a week later tried to renew my registration only to find out on the receipt that they only did an emission inspection which my county doesn't even require. Called customer service to see what could be done and they refuse to help because the state inspection problem have to be dealt with at the location.

However, they checked my air filter and I asked them to put the old one back so I could do it myself at home and they did not put my glove box back correctly. When I opened it after service to put my registration back, it wouldnt close.
