  Friendly staff, transmission service performed in a timely fashion. Above and beyond customer service: as I drove away I noticed an issue with my brakes unrelated to the transmission service that had just been completed. When I returned Jason and his staff identified the issue and fixed it on the spot. Thank you!

  I appreciate an honest business owner who operates with integrity. The owner, Jason, met me yesterday and took a look at my daughters 2017 Santa Fe which a Hyundai service shop told me a week ago that I needed to replace the transmission because of some slipping, the fluid was burnt looking, but no sign of metal. I went ahead and had the transmission fluid drained/filled at Valvoline. And then took it Carolina Transmission. I shared the details with Jason, we took it for a road test, and his advice was the transmission was fine. And he said replacing the original fluid appeared to be all that was needed. He didn't try to sell me on a transmission repair or replacement. No hesitation to recommend seeing him with any transmission or brakes issues.

  How lucky we are to have these folks in our area. They are all VERY polite & informative. I know nothing about transmissions and they answered every question for me without getting annoyed. And lemme tell ya I have lots of questions sometimes. The work was quick & amazing considering what needed to be done. 10/10 would recommend. And they even got me in and out fast for the couple week check up after the work was done. For reference I have a 2017 GMC Yukon XL.

  This is Terry Dowell here in Franklin nc I had my 04 trailblazer transmission rebuilt and we only drove it for going to messino for my wife for her chemo and are blazer was fine till one month after the warranty went out and now the transmission is broke down again it won't pull I would not let them work on your car now we have lost $3000 to have it fixed just to have it brake down again.DO NOT LET THEM WORK ON YOUR CAR

  I had a great experience with Carolina Transmission & Brakes in Franklin, NC. Jason was very friendly on the phone and invited me to bring my vehicle in for a free test drive so he could check it out, so I drove it over to Franklin. After taking it for a drive, he told me the issue was likely just a rattling heat shield and not a transmission problem! 😁 In a time when it would have been easy to claim there were multiple expensive issues, Jason was completely honest and assured me my transmission was fine. I truly appreciate that level of honesty and integrity. That is not something you find everywhere these days. I’m a very grateful customer and would highly recommend them. 🥰
