  Do not recommend for anyone to go. I called to get prices. After tax and everything. Over priced. Called back to see about an alignment. Was with another guy. Gave me a $100 cheaper price for everything needed. Called back to confirm the second guys amount. A woman who was very rude when I wasn’t. She gave me another out the door price. Made me feel stupid about what I was saying I needing done. My husband called and was given another out the door price. So went there and when I told them I had an appointment they pulled my information and gave me a higher price than any one the phone gave. Even tried to say inspection and never once said anything about inspection. 4 new tires and alignment was all I needed. While there I heard them over pricing customers already there and telling them things they needed that they knew they didn’t and glad they stood up to them saying no. This place needs to be cleared out and honest workers put in. People answering phones also.WILL NOT BE BACK. Not first time they have done this to us but was giving it another try. Not again. (Wrote all prices down with each conversation so I would have if questioned at mavis) they didn’t care.

  My husband and I were traveling to pick up my car in Hendersonville (which is 2 hours from our home) after having to leave it at the Ford dealership there due to very unexpected issues that prevented us from driving it back home when our trip was over. That said, it has been a stressful 2 weeks after leaving my car 2 hours from home. Long story short, the exhaust under my husbands mustang disconnected in the middle and was dragging the ground. Being we were 1hr 15mins from home, on a Sunday when most places are closed, and already feeling stressed from the other car problems- this quickly had us both panicked, defeated, and worried. We quickly searched and found Mavis was open knowing they may not be able to fix it, but they were the only shop with a car lift. We drove over after speaking to a gentleman on the phone and were greeted by 3 very nice men who were completely ready to help to the best of their abilities. They were able to get the exhaust back together and secured for us to finish our trip and get back home. When asking how much we owed, the nice gentleman who I failed to gets name quickly told us no charge, don’t worry about it. We offered him $40 just to say thank you and he turned it away and insisted we didn’t pay him. That may seem like a small thing, but after our recent events it left us both feeling so much relief and gratitude for his and the other 2 guys kindness. They did not have to help us and they especially didn’t have to do it for free. Thank you to the three gentlemen working for reminding us that there are still good people in the world! Your small act of kindness did NOT go unnoticed. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Absolutely amazing group of men working!

  Very fast and respectful told me many details about my trunk, show me exactly what I needed. And didn't charge me too much. I would take my truck there anytime very experienced

  I came in a couple minutes after they opened on a Sunday to fix a tire that had a screw lodged in, and they did the repair with no trouble and free of charge, definitely will be coming back here for future car issues

  Bait-and-switch pricing policy. Incorrect math and lack of transparency. I placed an online order for 4 Pirelli tires. The Mavis website advertisement listed a $50 Reservation Discount, a $100 Pirelli Mail-In Rebate, and a $100 Pirelli Instant Off Installation rebate. The online estimated total before taxes was $659.92, which included a $99.96 computerized wheel balancing fee. However, the email order confirmation total was incorrect because the system failed to apply the $100 Instant Off rebate. When I called the Forest City store to fix this error and request an honest "Out-of-the-Door" price, the manager first claimed all rebates were already applied. When I pointed out that the screenshot of my online summary showed otherwise, he claimed it was a Pirelli rebate, not a Mavis rebate. I insisted< and finally, he stated the discount would apply at the register tomorrow, even though instant rebates must legally be applied to the estimate before taxes and fees are calculated. The manager flat-out refused to email me a corrected, itemized written estimate and instead gave me a verbal price only, which was still not clear and higher than expected. Reputable tire shops provide written quotes via email upon request with no problem. Absolute lack of transparency and horrible customer service. I decided to cancel my appointment and take my business elsewhere.
