  They’re a joke. 0 communication and they’ll rent your car out from under you. If you can go somewhere else. I would.

  I reserved a vehicle over a month and a half ago. I had an appointment to pick it up this morning. I got there and they didn’t have it. We’re scheduled to leave for the beach in an hour and it’s lunch time on a Saturday. Nowhere will be open until Monday. So, it’s either drive my truck to the beach that will not fit into the parking garage, or wait until Monday and loose two days of vacation or the whole reservation all together if we don’t sign in. I’m absolutely livid and will never do business with them again. I hate I had to even leave one star.

  I had made a reservation back in February for a 15 passenger van for my family vacation for June. My reservation was still in my app for today…4 months have passed since reservation was made. I go to pick up the vehicle and the guy there says there has been a recall on the vans and all the vans were sent to a camps in Asheville for rental. So I’m not sure which is true. He said they called to tell me last month, but I don’t have any voicemails at all. He also tells me they don’t have any other vehicles to rent me since they don’t have what was requested. I believe that if my reservation was still showing as not cancelled then why not call again to follow up. I believe that would have been more professional business standard if you cared about the business from your customers. I wasted my time today and now I’m left trying to figure out a means for transportation for my family for our vacation in 2 days. This is the 2nd incident with the Forest City location this year where I have had to go to elsewhere to get a rental! I am very disappointed and upset and will NEVER use this location again! I wouldn’t advise anyone else to book here either because you may end up in the same predicament!
