  If you are renting a car out of the Asheville airport, we highly recommend Enterprise. Great rates. Great cars. Excellent service. Fantastic team. Very accommodating.

  I’ve rented with enterprise for years and never had a problem. I reserved a luxury sedan a Audi or bmw and got a hyundai genesis and when I said something about the car the gave me a hyundai suv that got 20mph and xm didn’t work even though I paid for it and the blue tooth wouldn’t connect. I’m saddened by this and hope enterprise can make this right so I keep giving them my business. I’ll redo the review once I’m contacted by the company.

  We had a one day, one way rental with Enterprise from Asheville to Jacksonville reserved weeks in advance but when we arrived the desk refused our reservation because we tried to pay with a debit card instead of a credit card. When asked why the manager cited airport policy and that it was 'our fault for not reading the fine print.' When we asked if she could help coordinate a rental from a different Enterprise location she refused saying that we wouldn't be getting a rental for the trip because we weren't local. During the entire discussion the manager, Jessica, was constantly hostile, cutting us mid sentence and walking away repeatedly when we asked for assistance in finding a solution. Their refusal to fill the reservation left the family, to include 2 children, stranded until alternate transportation could arrive 22 hours later. I've used Enterprise in the past personally and professionally and plan to again in the future because of the quality service we're usually see. But this manager was uniquely unprofessional, willfully unhelpful, and just down right mean.

  After great service in the past with Asheville Airport Enterprise, we were shocked at the situation that unfolded on Thursday July 9, 2026. Arriving 20 minutes earlier than our 11:30 PM arrival time and with no bags to claim, we proceeded immediately to the temporary rental car location at AVL. Of the three competing desks, only the enterprise line was full. An occasional customer at either of the two other desks. But in front of us in the enterprise line or no fewer than 18 waiting parties. Two rental agents were doing the best they could, but of course, each customer stepping up for their car was taking between 7 to 10 minutes to get through the process. The math was obvious. At 11:30 at night we were going to be in line anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours to get a car to take us the 50 minutes to our destination. My wife moved to one of the empty competing desks and was able to secure a car, literally the very last one available between either of the two competing desks for double the price that enterprise had quoted us in our reservation. We made the difficult choice to pay extra to get to our destination at a reasonable time. As we stepped out of the enterprise line and got our rental car from Avis, no fewer than 10 other parties were behind us with at least 12 remaining in front. An absolutely horrible way to treat customers. There is no way that enterprise did not have a good idea of how many customers they would be seeing that evening and for them to not put additional agents on hand or have some kind of a system to move people through at that time of night is enough for us to do whatever possible moving forward to avoid bringing our business to enterprise ever again. Proceed with extreme caution.
