Very much far from great.
We went to the car wash today and selected the $30 service. While going through the wash, we noticed that the left side of the machine was NOT working, which we already thought was odd.
After exiting the wash, we walked around the car and noticed that our tires had not been cleaned at all. This was especially frustrating because we specifically paid for the $30 wash, which is supposed to include tire cleaning.
We went inside to speak with an employee, and we were told that they were already aware that the machine was not working properly—but they are still allowing customers to pay full price for the service. How does that make sense?
We were then told that we could simply take some of the cleaning supplies and clean the tires ourselves. Excuse me?! I paid $30 for a service that is supposed to include cleaning the tires. Why would I then have to get out and clean them myself because the equipment isn’t working?
To make matters worse, we were not offered a refund. Instead, we were told that we would have to take our complaint up with corporate.
So, here I am making this review as one of the steps in my complaint process. If the equipment is not working properly, customers should either be informed BEFORE paying or be given a refund/adjustment for the services they did not receive.
I paid for a $30 car wash, not a $30 “wash it yourself” experience. This is extremely disappointing and, quite frankly, unacceptable.
