I would like to comment and share my experience with Van, who was the Technician who repaired our windshield on our Volvo S 80 He was friendly fast and efficient. He also gave us tips about our windshield wiper blades that needed to be replaced so it would not scratch the windshield. I highly recommend safety Safe Light windshield repair!

    1. Great scheduling experience, and I appreciate the speed with which they were able to schedule the appointment for the morning after I called. 2. Technician was on time to the job and communicated with me prior to arrival. He (Jack) replaced my side glass quickly with good operation afterwards. 3. My only criticism is that the technician left out rubber boot dust covers that belonged inside the door panel on a couple spots of the stainless steel and left those rubber boots on my dashboard. I texted the technician directly to offer him a chance to come back and install everything that he left out and got no response from him. I tried to call Safelite to report an incomplete install, and I was so frustrated with their online automated operator, that I've just decided to pop off the door panel myself and put my rubber boot dust covers back in the door myself. 4. Typical service industry experience for the Fayetteville/Cumberland County area. You have to live in Wake county or Mecklenburg county to get real professional service from start to finish.

From scheduling the appointment to completing the service, the whole process was so easy! I scheduled online and was able to get next day service. The tech explained everything, answered all of my questions and the repair is wonderful! Definitely recommend!

Maurice did an amazing job repairing my windshield! He was quick, professional, and made sure the job was done right so we could get back on the road as soon as possible. On top of that, he was extremely kind and friendly throughout the whole process. I really appreciate the great service and would definitely recommend Maurice to anyone who needs windshield repairs!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Save yourself the headache and go anywhere else. I originally called Safelite out to perform minor chip repairs on two of my cars (a BMW and a Hyundai). The technician arrived and immediately cracked the BMW’s windshield while trying to fix the chip. A couple of weeks later the same tech worked on the Hyundai, assured me the repair was successful, and said the windshield was secure. A few days later, a huge crack spread across the entire Hyundai windshield. It gets worse. I set an appointment to replace the Hyundai’s windshield on Saturday morning, dropping the car off before 8:00 AM. I was told it would be ready before closing. Their official hours listed online said they closed at 12:00 PM, so I called at 11:00 AM for an update. The staff member apologized for the "misinformation on the website," claimed they actually closed at 5:00 PM, and promised the car would be ready by then. At 4:50 PM—ten minutes before closing—a tech called to say their system went down and they couldn't perform the sensor/camera calibration, but promised to do it first thing Monday morning. I showed up Monday at 9:30 AM to pick up my car, only to be hit with yet another set of ridiculous excuses. First, I was told the tech working on my car was off for the day, and they were scrambing to find someone else to perform the calibration. Then, they claimed the reason they couldn't finish on Saturday was that the third-party calibration company closed at 4:00 PM and "they didn't know." Which is it? A system failure or poor planning? Nothing but a bunch of lies, poor communication, and zero accountability. They ruined two windshields and held my car hostage over an entire weekend due to total incompetence. Avoid this shop at all costs.
