  Very easy to work with,showed me how to operate a hybrid because I couldn't figure out the panel, even sent a text msg to respond with in case I needed anything.

  I reseved a car for an overnight drive to Florida for a cruise. The size I wanted "wasn't available", so I was given a Honda Civic hybrid--big enough for two people and our luggage. The car kept shutting off in the parking lot and I had trouble starting it, but thought that was just a hybrid thing (first experience with a hybrid vehicle). I read the manual before leaving and kept repeating the steps until I got the car going. Once the car got going, everything was great. We stopped to fill up, and the car wouldn't start. Out came the manual for a refresher to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong. After a few minutes, it started up. I drove a while further, nervous to stop, but after a while needed a break. I stopped at a travel center to take a rest and when I tried to start the car, it wouldn't start no matter what I tried. I googled the car and saw that maybe the battery needed to be charged. We asked around for a jump but nobody had jump-start equipment. So you have two women stuck in the parking lot at 4 AM. I called customer support and was told it would cost an extra $70 to have someone come out to check their poorly maintained vehicle. I declined and ended the call. As I was hanging up, a man towing a truck pulled into the parking lot--perfect! He happened to be a mechanic, and was happy to help. He knew about hybrids and tried to start the car--nothing. He tried several times but it wouldn't start. He pulled out a battery tester and checked the battery. He said the battery was fine and that there must have been an electrical wiring issue. While he was checking the car, we were on a second call to Alamo support, getting no support at all and being told to go trade the car at another rental site that would be opening at 1 PM! The mechanic couldn't get the car to start and was apologizing and about to leave. While he was speaking, I was repeatedly doing the start process when the car finally started. I ended the call with Customer Disappointment, thanked the mechanic and headed down the road. Hours later, once we were near the rental center, we stopped to gas up. At least if anything happened, we were close to Alamo. Of course the car started just fine that time. We dropped the car off and I told a worker what happened. I was advised to contact Alamo after my trip about the issue. I do not recommend Alamo, and will not recommend nor book myself nor my customers an Alamo rental.

  Upon picking up the rental, the exterior was not clean. Because it was late and we were already packed up, and ready to get on the road, and the inside was clean and didn't smell, I didn't say anything until returning the rental. After the rep heard me, please forgive me for not getting his name, he took a day off of my original charge!!! I didn't express my concerns looking for anything. I was simply making them aware. I choose Alamo and this location as often as possible, for the very fact that all staff listens, try very hard to accommodate my requests, they are all very professional, and go beyond the extras to give great customer service. I thank each and everyone for always making me feel valued! Thank you so much for All that you do to keep me a repeat - beyond satisfied customer! Blessings be to everyone for a job well done!
