  I was talked to and treated like a friend, neighbor, or family rather than another customer to get out the door. I had a problem with tires I bought from a competitor, and they still helped me rotate two tires which resolved my problem. Then the young man wouldn't even charge me. Customer service above and beyond my expectations. I will be back for my service needs in the future.

  Called in on 7/2 for a service on my 2015 Silverado 1500 for brake pads, oil change and for them to change my headlights. I work at the Advance auto parts down the road at 419 CC Camp Road, and Nick gave me excellent options. Not only did Nick warn me that he was short handed, but that he was able to get the work done in two hours!! No other place can do all that I asked in two hours while short staffed, and fairly busy! Supplying the products got me a great deal, and had me done by 1:00 pm. Jimmy changed out the headlights, and was hesitant at first due to the originals still being good, but I wanted to upgrade to the LED option. He did it anyways for me. Leonard did the oil change and brake pads, answered my questions about the spline key for my lug nuts, as well as the coloration of my oil. If you need service on your vehicle, or tires, I recommend this Mavis store. It's right off the highway, beside a Walmart, and if you have to wait, there's a Zaxby's right next door. It's a great place with great people who provide that top tier service. High marks for these hard workers. Because I dropped my truck off, Nick gave me a ride back to the shop to pick up my truck. Major kudos to him, and all around five stars for everyone there. For anyone reading this review, the store number is 2179 off C C Camp Road in Elkin, NC.

  Somehow I ended up with a hole in my tire and it was 15 minutes till mavis closed. We called to see when they closed and Jimmy the manager said he would stay in late to fix it! I am so appreciative of his hard work and dedication to his customers. It was an amazing experience and I will definitely go back for any other issues I have in the future!

  Traveling OH to FL, something wasn't feeling right with a trailer that I was pulling, so stopped to ask for assistance. The shop pulled both tires, balanced, checked bearings, said everything looked good, nothing wrong, continue on your way. Asked how much, didn't give me an invoice, just have a good day. Not sure what they did, maybe just the TLC on the trailer, but felt an immediate difference in handling. Thank you for the time and service there, and saw how others were taken care of. Their close proximity to the interstate makes it an easy stop, if they work like this, would always trust them for the right information.

  I am very disappointed with my experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes. I brought my car in for an alignment, and unfortunately it was not done correctly. After noticing the issue, I returned to the shop twice to have it corrected. Even after three alignment attempts in total, my car still was not properly aligned. In addition, I asked the staff to diagnose and repair my TPMS warning light. I let them know but the problem was never resolved. I hope they improve the quality of their work so others don’t have a similar experience.
