  I went to Strickland Brothers for a state inspection for my vehicle. The employee who greeted me was exceptionally courteous and politely guided me through the drive through service lane. I was pleased to find out I didn’t have to exit the vehicle at all during the inspection, especially with a napping toddler in the back seat. The inspection took less than 10 minutes and I left with a complimentary car air freshener! Overall it was a great experience. I will definitely go there for future inspections and services.

  I went in for a oil change and I explained twice that I had my own oil which they did use same goes for the filter 6 days went past and I check my trunk to look for something I see 3 quarts of unused oil in my trunk mind you I drive a 16 mustang gt which calls for 8 I’ve heard of a quart being left over but never 3 it’s completely a lack of care and for one bothering to check the required amount of oil needed I mean if I give you 8 quarts put the 8 quarts in the car I mean sure it took definitely over 10 mins that I could care less about but when you put 3 quarts less than what my car requires because your own negligence that’s the issue I drive to Va for work 5 days a week give it a month for that oil to evaporate down motor would of been done I’ve never even bothered to leave a review for anywhere but this is something else I mean that’s how I get to work everyday and next thing I know my motor would of been seized if I didn’t decide to check the tech did show me the dip stick right after I was done driving so yea the oils gonna read right on the dip stick not to mention the engine air filter I replaced 400 miles ago the tech told me I’d need to replace next service I mean the filter was pearly white still I get it’s there job but it needs to be common sense as well honesty and integrity is what the shop needs and I’m hoping they will own up to this mistake.

  I arrived just before closing and they provided great customer service, very knowledgeable and and professional. The prices are reasonable and gives you the small town feeling with top of the line service. I'll be paying them another visit soon with one of my other vehicles. Great job 👏

  Friendly staff despite being super busy. Oil change and state inspection complete within 45 mins with no appointment. Then brought second vehicle in for just state inspection and was in and out in 20 mins. Will definitely go back and recommend them to others.

  huge thank you to the amazing team at Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change in Elizabeth City! I stopped in for a my dog car -( which I don’t very often) inspection and quickly learned from Bob that I was overdue for an oil change. Victoria provided exceptional customer service, making sure my vehicle was taken care of with new air filters, fresh oil, new windshield wipers and sprayed Bath and Body Works products in my filter for awesome customer service. It's refreshing to do business with a team that is knowledgeable, honest, and truly cares about their customers.
