I bought a Subaru Outback from this dealership for my wife, and at first, everything seemed great. The salesperson, Amanda, was sweet and real helpful. She went on and on about how the car was in tip-top shape and had just been through a fresh inspection.
Well, skip ahead a mere 26 days later, and we find out the axle is clean broken. Not only that, but the wheel hub bearing was shot too, costing us a small fortune to get fixed. But y'all, here is the absolute best part there was a whole wasp nest tucked right inside the hood. There is no way on God's green earth a wasp nest sets up shop like that under the hood if this vehicle had actually been looked over. It wasn't a fresh one either, that nest had been there for a hot minute.
When I called 'em up, they didn't do a single lick of good. They dragged their feet and waited until that 30-day mark passed just so they could wash their hands of it and not pay a dime. I don't recommend this place one bit. I'm glad all these other folks in the reviews got their dream car, but this lot sure didn't help me find my wife's. I don't know what kind of excuse they're gonna try and cook up in response to this, but I promise you they are dead wrong. Bless their hearts, but do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

I had an outstanding experience purchasing my new 2026 Honda Civic Sport Touring Hatchback from Hall Honda Elizabeth City.
Donald “Casey” Ferebee provided the best car-buying experience I have ever had.
From the beginning, there were no games, gimmicks, or pressure. When the first hatchback they located was already pre-sold, Casey never tried to steer me toward a different vehicle. He listened to what I wanted and stayed committed to helping me find the exact car I was looking for.
What stood out most was his communication and follow-through. Even though I lived several hours away, Casey made me feel like a priority. He consistently provided updates, shared leads, and made sure I knew he had not forgotten about me.
I also worked closely with my financial advisor throughout the process, and Casey was welcoming, transparent, and patient. He openly engaged her in the conversation, answered our questions, and made sure we understood the numbers and the process every step of the way. I always felt informed, supported, and respected.
When I arrived at the dealership, Casey was exactly the same person he had been over the phone..,genuine, personable, professional, and kind. He answered every question with patience, never made me feel rushed, and was incredibly kind to my daughter. You can tell he genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in doing right by his customers.
I also want to recognize Brian in Finance. Finance can be one of the most intimidating parts of buying a vehicle, but Brian made it easy. He was honest, straightforward, and worked hard to make sure everything fit within my budget. I never felt pressured to purchase anything I didn’t want or couldn’t afford. His integrity was evident throughout the entire process.
Thank you as well to John, the General Manager, for the role he played in helping make this purchase possible. His support and leadership throughout the process did not go unnoticed, and I am truly grateful.
What impressed me most was that the positive experience extended beyond Casey, Brian, and John. From the Parts Department to the employees preparing my vehicle, everyone I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. It was clear that people enjoy working there, take pride in what they do, and genuinely care about their customers.
Special thanks to the entire team for surviving the “Bianca Question Marathon” and helping me find the perfect car. I absolutely love my new Civic.
If you are looking for a Honda, I highly recommend Hall Honda Elizabeth City. I made a six-hour round trip to purchase this vehicle, and the experience was absolutely worth every mile.
Thank you, Casey, Brian, John, and the entire Hall Honda team for making this such a positive experience.
