  Isaac was a fabulous technician. When he removed our damaged windshield he discovered the special order ome glass was damaged. He located a new windshield in Raleigh, drove a distance to pick it up, and stayed overtime to complete the job for us that evening, and even took time to wash our vehicle (which it badly needed), all with a great smile and professional attitude.

  While traveling, I realized a rock hit and created a small hole in my windshield. I called my insurance company. While the agent looked at my policy, I called Safelite. They initiated a claim, set me up for an appointment the next morning at the closest Safelite shop. We got that all arranged before my agent called me back! Safelite did the work in less time than estimated and it looks great. If the repair fails, they will make it right. But I bet I don’t need them for this windshield damage again. Great service. Great job. I had the same experience using their mobile service for a different vehicle several years ago. Highly recommend them.

  This installation was incredibly easy from start to finish! I called to book an appointment, and they were able to come out just a few days later. They even completed the repair right in the parking lot at my workplace, which was extremely convenient. The installation was clean and professionally done, and everything turned out great. My only suggestion would be to make sure all of the small pieces of debris created during the replacement are cleaned up before leaving.

  It took a couple weeks for Safelite to obtain a windshield for my 2023 VW ID.4 and I was concerned about the replacement based on warnings from the sales people at VW when I bought the car who wanted to sell me insurance to covér windshield repair. As it turned out Safelight did a great job and they handled the insurance claim with State Farm so I only had to pay my $100 deductible.

  Truly terrible service experience to the point where I now have to claim fraud with my insurance company after 4 attempts to change a windshield and now no longer responses from the shop waiting for the new glass for 6 weeks… 1) April 29 I had an appointment to change a broken windshield on my Tesla. It cost $1000 in deductible and the rest from the insurance company. I dropped the car off about 8 AM. Got a call about 12 PM to pick the car up. Went inside, got the key and the receipt; went to the car to find scratches all over the glass and wavy tint. So I went back inside to show somebody; they sent a technician out and the technician said "oh yeah I saw this after I put it in, but you have warranty on it so you can just schedule another appointment to get new glass"… 2) before the May 8 appointment for the new Glass I realized on the first rain that they also forgot to calibrate the windshield wipers making one wiper flip over the a-pillar by about 3-4 inches which broke the rubber on the wiper and scratched the paint on the pillar 3) on the next appointment then they call me in and show me that the glass is damaged again. I pick up the car. We schedule another appointment. 4) Appointment #3: I drop the car off and get a call back about six hours later to pick it up. I walk in and the manager comes out and says "has anybody talk to you yet?" Well, the glass was bad again - this time the camera alignment was off which as you can see on the pictures broke the plastic covering for my camera and makes the camera misaligned, which means I don’t have any cruise control anymore or safety warnings or anything of that kind. I was promised that I would now get “OEM Glass", as well as reimbursement for the windshield wipers and contact of a local body shop that would take care of the scratches on the pillars. 5) on the next appointment however about an hour or two after dropping off the car, I got a call that apparently the glass that was delivered is again not OEM glass and had some issues so they said to come back in pick up the car and wait for the next appointment. That has now been almost 3 weeks I have since tried calling the shop, the manager, texting the manager - all to no avail. Calling Safelite's 800 number they tell me I need to call the shop and when they try with me on the phone, the shop equally doesn’t pick up so I’m now at the sad point of having to claim fraud with my insurance and somehow figure out how besides the money we paid for the windshield we will get their damages taken care of. I would use caution with Safelite as a whole, but definitely specifically this location!
