  Always friendly. Gave good timeline . Offered extra services but was not pushy to have us do them . This is the second time we have taken our car there . First time did a wheel sensor for the abs. Was very fair on the price. This will be our place to take are cars as long as we live in north Durham

  Made an appointment for state safety inspection, showed up for appointment and they told me it would be approximately 90 minutes to get it done because their inspector is a mechanic working on another project and couldn’t get to it until he was done. Pointless to make an appointment for a certain time and have to wait that long for it to be completed. Going somewhere else for this and other vehicle needs moving forward.

  A complete waste of time. I called on Tuesday to schedule an inspection for Saturday. When I arrived on Saturday, the man at the front desk said “I don’t have an inspector here and he won’t be in until Monday. Just because you made an appointment doesn’t mean it reflects our schedule here.” Apparently, they have a call center that schedules appointments but has no access to actual store schedules. If you’re looking to waste your time or just talk to a call center employee for no reason, this is your place.

  Even after paying, daily calls continued to yield “hasn’t started yet.” Eventually we were told the repair was done, but that an additional $700 issue had been found. At that point we had the car towed home to attempt the repair ourselves, since we had the part. When that didn’t fully resolve it, the car was towed back to Mr. Tire, where it then sat for another stretch of time with no work done, despite daily calls checking in. During this period, the shop called to tell us the vehicle had been broken into while on their lot — and did not notify us until after 11am the following day, well after they say they discovered it and filed a police report. That delay meant we had no chance to protect our own interests or respond promptly. The final call from Mr. Tire consisted of a staff member telling my son to come pick up the car because “we don’t want to work on it anymore.” When we got the vehicle home, it was not working — the exhaust was smoking and the car was shaking while running, conditions that were not present when it was dropped off. We paid over $3,000 for repairs that were not completed, experienced weeks of delay and unresponsiveness, had our vehicle broken into while in their care with delayed notification, and got the car back in worse mechanical condition than when we brought it in. We are seeking a full refund and would strongly caution others considering this shop.
