  I brought my vehicle to Mavis to have a rear wiper blade replaced. During the service, the technician removed the blade and the assembly broke immediately. I was told afterward that the part was “brittle” and that I would need to pay for the replacement. What was disappointing is that the wiper was working perfectly fine before I brought it in for service and only failed during removal. I’ve been going to Mavis for years, which is why this experience was especially frustrating. While I understand older parts can be fragile, I feel there should have been better communication upfront about the risk or more accountability for what happened during the service. Given that the wiper was fully functional before the service and failed immediately during removal, I expected some responsibility or goodwill adjustment from the shop. Because of this experience, I do not plan on returning to this location. I hope future customers are made aware when parts may be at risk during service so expectations are clearer.

  Unfortunately I will not be returning to Mavis Tires in Cornelius. After asking for my fluids to be topped up it was not completed, leaving me to believe my car had a leak. The same thing happened to my partners truck. I also don’t believe my air filter was replaced when I requested it. I don’t have any evidence because the date of services happened a few months ago. I don’t think Mavis is a bad place, their prices were fair and the people working there were nice. But I don’t trust them anymore because of this situation. If you go to Mavis in Cornelius I would double check that they completed the work you requested and paid for.

  Jared and Monica received me 10 minutes before they closed and I was on the way out of town when my tire blew. Even with 10min left, they acted like that had just started their day! Very joyful people and I couldn’t thank them enough!

  Michelle and her team here at mavis were absolutely amazing ! I came in so upset and lost not knowing what to do and they helped me right away this will definitely be my go to place from now on !! They were quick and thorough and very informative!! And just nice in general a lot of places are lacking that quality overall!!

  I had a superb experience at this Mavis location. The staff worked quickly, and they were very friendly and professional. I was given an affordable quote on necessary repairs, and I didn’t pay a dollar more than the estimate I was given before the service was complete. The manager, Monica, was exceptionally helpful and even pointed out some previously unnoticed issues with my suspension and gave me an estimate on that as well. Overall, a great experience.
