  Excellent service at the Concord Mills location! I returned with an issue that had been overlooked after my oil change. As soon as I arrived, Manager Darius and Assistant Manager Kenton stepped in and addressed my concern immediately. Their professionalism, prompt response, and commitment to customer satisfaction were greatly appreciated. Manager Darius and Assistant Manager Kenton demonstrated exceptional leadership and outstanding customer service. Thank you both for turning my experience into a positive one!

  I’ve been going to this Valvoline for years and never had an issue, but this will be my last time. They failed my car because the wipers “streaked” before fully clearing. I replaced them and came back the next day, and they were about to fail it again until I asked the manager to show me where the NC inspection code says streaking is an automatic failure. They couldn’t, and suddenly told the inspector to pass it. They also asked where I bought the new blades after trying to sell me theirs at an inflated price. The whole thing felt like a shady attempt to upsell me, and I won’t be back

  I have been a loyal Valvoline customer for over five years and this 1-star review is based solely on my experience with the A/C service at the Concord location. I paid $175 to have my A/C serviced. During the visit, the technicians lost the high-side A/C service port cap. They later ordered the wrong size replacement and never corrected the issue. I ultimately had to purchase the correct cap myself and install it at my own expense. After I had my A/C condenser replaced by my mechanic, I returned to Valvoline to have refrigerant added. I was told something else was wrong with my A/C system and that was why only one vent was blowing cold air. Since the A/C soon started blowing warm air again, I took my car back to my mechanic and showed him the Valvoline receipt indicating that refrigerant had already been added. He tested the system in front of me and showed me the gauges and a photo of the readings. To my surprise, the system had essentially no refrigerant in it. He simply added refrigerant and all of my vents immediately began blowing cold air again. No additional repairs were needed. With the cost of everything these days and after recently paying for my son’s funeral, losing $175 on a service that did not resolve the problem was especially difficult. I’ve trusted Valvoline with my vehicle for years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Based on what happened, I cannot recommend getting A/C service at the Valvoline Concord location. I hope management looks into this so other customers don’t have the same experience.
