- CWCharlie WatsonJun 25, 20261.0"Do not purchase a car from this dealership"! I purchased a car from Matthews Motors on 23 Feb 2026. I have been trying since then to get a copy of the vehicle title forwarded to the Maryland DMV. As of today 25 June 2026, DMV has not received it. My car was stolen on 9 April 2026, on that same day, I informed my insurance provider, and I called Matthews motors to inform them and to check on the status of my title. My insurance provider will not pay my claim until they get a copy of the title. I have called and spoken to a minimum of 5 dealership employees to include one manager. The manager told me on 20 May 2026, that the title had been picked up by FEDX, but that he did not have a tracking number. The manager did assure me that he would keep me informed on its status. I have not heard from him since. I am having to pay on a $53,000.00 car that I no longer have, nor can I get paid a claim from my insurance provider because Matthews motors have not followed the law by providing me a copy of the title within 20 - 30 days of purchase. I gave them one star because you cannot post without giving at least one star!
