  I honestly don’t know where to start. Kim is just simply amazing, she is straightforward, honest , extremely nice and simply put just the best person I have ever dealt with. Raul did something for me that I never have seen before as my salesman, Thank you Raul from the bottom of my heart. I sold cars for a few years and have bought more than my fair share of vehicles but I have never been treated the way I was at Matthews Motor's in Clayton NC. I will even have my vehicle delivered. If you are in the market for a vehicle go see them. Thank you Kim and Raul, when it’s time to trade I will come back to these people again.

  I left a review once for my Sales Rep Queen her services were fine, but here is a more realistic review after I have had time to go through several things with this dealership. My honest opinion of this place would be to only come here if you are truly in need of a vehicle. Here's why. I truly hesitated on purchasing a vehicle because I had a vehicle, but I keep experiencing issues with it so I decided to come here as I was referred by an attorney. I purchased a vehicle and I honestly felt like they were using my financial situation to convince me to purchase a Jeep Renegade even though I was interested in other vehicles. I agreed to purchase this sold as is vehicle and literally within a few weeks of having it the water pump went out. I paid for this out of pocket and literally a few days after buying the vehicle I went back asking them if they could please check out a window noise I have been hearing. Their Carfax stated that there were no accidents to the vehicle but the car window kept having wind gushing through it, the car door speaker sounded busted and distorted. As a courtesy they did agree to fix the window literally a few days after repair the noise came back. They then blamed it on the roof. Here it is finally a little pass 45 days and I have been stressed out over this car because the window is still not fixed, I paid $1000 out of pocket for a water pump and my car is currently in the shop right now to see what is wrong with this door. I have reached out to several workers to get in contact with the GM to see if they would try to help make this right as they know my financial situation as to why I purchased the car in the first place. At this point I will recommend no one come here as I have travelled back and forth to this dealership approximately like 10 times with no promising resolution. Overall, I do like my car, but I am not satisfied with the service I have received. I am hoping they will reimburse for the water pump and then possibly I can use those funds to fix that door and speaker. Also, I have documentation from the dealership stating they replace the window which is not true as I have tinted windows and the window was not replaced and lastly it was reported that someone else complained of the window not rolling up but of course this was never disclosed to me. My rating is a 2 because I at least have a vehicle to drive despite all my current issues and headache!! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Service department can use some better qualified techs!

  My experience with Matthews Motors Clayton was absolutely amazing from start to finish. They truly went above and beyond to make sure I walked away with keys in my hand. No matter the obstacle, the team stayed determined, patient, and solution-focused to help get me approved and into a vehicle. If you have bad credit, no credit, or feel discouraged about buying a car, I honestly recommend giving them a chance because they genuinely work hard to help people. A special thank you to Queen, who was an excellent salesperson throughout the entire process. She made everything feel personal instead of “salesy.” She was professional, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and truly good at what she does. She answered every question, kept me informed, and made the experience comfortable and stress-free. You can tell this dealership cares about people, not just making a sale. I’m extremely grateful for the experience and highly recommend Matthews Motors Clayton to anyone looking for a vehicle and a team that will truly work with you.

  The rep was helpful and process was seamless on driving off with the car. I had the opportunity to test drive the vehicle by myself prior to purchase which was great. The car on the other hand had quite a few cosmetic issues, including several scratches and scuffs, on the vehicle that I got less money off than what I would anticipate. I noted that the breaks made a little bit of sound when breaking, but I was told those were new brakes. I’ve had new brakes put on numerous times and they’ve never sounded like that. Please ensure you check the car thoroughly when driving to address any potential issues. Other than minor problems, I do appreciate Matthews Motors exercising all the financial options given my situation I’m in. They worked diligently in finding a vehicle that would fit my plan

  Me and my dad purchased a Tesla Model 3 RWD that was advertised as Long Range, we were even told in person and on papers that we signed that it was Long Range RWD, and since we believed that Matthew's Motors was trust worthy we didn't pay any attention as we were satisfied with our little test drive. however on our long drive back home I noticed that the battery was dying faster that I anticipated so I looked at the information and to my surprise, it is a base model, not the long range trim. we ended up paying the price for a long range when in reality we were getting something worth roughly $5k less! And not to mention the car didn't even come with a portable charger when we were told it did. Thanks Chase
