- JSJennifer SandersMay 8, 20261.0I made a reservation over one month ago for a premium large SUV for May8th. I received the text to check-in the day before, and I did. When I arrived at my pickup time, there was no large SUV to rent. They offered a 5 seater SUV but I needed what I reserved-7 seater. I waited 2&1/2 hours and still nothing. I proceeded to try the Enterprise in Knightdale, NC. There were some large SUVs there however staff stated they couldn’t rent them out because they were for RESERVATIONS! Why didn’t Clayton Enterprise make sure they had the vehicle for their customers with reservations! I also never received a call stating that they didn’t have a vehicle! I share this complaint/concern in hope that something will change with this process and understand the service you are offering is for customers who really have a need. Please do better and honor your reservations!!

I completed the booking process online and expected everything to be ready when I arrived. However, once I got to the location, I was told that the car I reserved was not available. There was no prior phone call or email to inform me about this issue before I showed up. At the counter, I was only offered a compact car or a truck as alternatives, which was not what I had planned for or agreed to. The lack of communication and last-minute change caused a lot of inconvenience. I hope the company improves its reservation reliability and communicates with customers ahead of time when issues arise.
