On the day of the event, I was turned away due to a management miscommunication. Apparently that discount was only on oil changes. So now I am overdue on my transmission service and about to be out $100+ more than I had planned for - that is, once I find a new shop to complete the service and my oil changes from now on. I will mention that the manager offered me a $40 discount if I came back another day, but I'd honestly just go somewhere that honors what they tell their customers from the start.
