  I have been renting cars at airports for more than 50 years, so I’ve seen just about everything. In the end, it usually comes down to customer service. Too many people simply go through the motions, and you never feel as though they genuinely care. I recently had one of the best car-rental experiences of my life with Jared in Charlotte. By the end of our conversation, I felt as though I had made a new friend. He didn’t just talk about the rental car. He was genuinely interested in what I was doing, where I was going, and how he could make my experience better. I’m in the business of helping companies improve their customer experience and level of service, and I can honestly say that Jared is exceptional. Management needs to move him into training his talents are being wasted behind the counter!

  Jared at the counter was very kind and helpful. I had a goof with my Expedia reservation, and he handled it quickly and professionally. Both the pick up and return process went seamlessly. Overall a 5/5 experience.

  The car is crashed in several places, the car jumps a lot when braking and strong smell of cigarette. I have small children and we are traveling far it was inconvenient made me worry about our safety, the car was clean and the pick up process was smooth and quick

  If I could give a “0” I would….we reserved a car for our son flying form Chicago and when his flight was delayed to the point that his arrival would have been after Sixt closed, we tried to cancel the reservation (at 6:30 pm)..they wouldn’t refund us as it was past 6:00pm. He never got the vehicle and they wouldn’t refund it. Don’t use them. Also, will make sure my son tells his company in Charlotte never to use them. **You can see their generic response below, the delay wasn’t frustrating…the fact that you didn’t refund the money even when we bought insurance speaks volumes…if you cared you would refund the money, you don’t so don’t pretend like you do**

  My SIXT experience on 7/23/26 was a good one even though the vehicle I selected wasn’t available the two attendants Chris & Johnny made the pick up memorable. They were both friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the vehicles in the stables and helped me go through all the necessary check in protocols effortlessly. If you ever have the opportunity to be serviced by either one or both of these guys I believe that you will come to the same conclusion that I did, they are both top notch and are true professionals at their jobs. I give them 5 stars all the way.
