  The team took care of my 2020 Toyota Camry on Monday. Great experience from start to finish, minus the fact I was unable to reach anyone to let them know I’d be late but I was able to reschedule for a half hour later through the website so it all worked out. The process was super quick and I was in and out. The front desk was the sweetest and most personable, and the technician was very kind, professional, and explained everything clearly. Cute little lobby, great service, and I would absolutely recommend them

  Avoid this location—poor workmanship ruined my windshield. There is a much better option than this location. I’ll get to that soon. While the technicians were friendly, I learned after doing some research that the success of a chip repair depends entirely on the technique of the technician. After they worked on my windshield, the chip barely changed. I now know this isn't normal—a proper repair should make it nearly invisible. Looking at other reviews for this specific location, they are notoriously known for rushed, subpar work. Because they rushed and the resin has already cured, the chip is stuck directly in my field of vision, and I am stuck needing an entirely new windshield. Safelite has a policy stating they will replace your windshield if a chip repair fails or if you are unsatisfied. However, based on how this location operates, I highly doubt they will honor it without making excuses to save on costs. Even if they do offer to replace it, many reviews state that this location does a poor job with full replacements and damages vehicles. If they actually do replace it for free without a fight, and do a good job, I will update this review—but don't hold your breath. I made the mistake of trusting my insurance provider, Progressive, to send me to a quality shop. Once again, they steered me down the wrong road and made a simple problem much worse. To put this location's lack of effort into perspective: years ago, I had a similar chip repaired while in Sylva, NC. They sent a technician from the Asheville Safelite branch. That technician treated his job like a craft, was incredibly patient, and did a masterful job. In contrast, the technician at this local shop changed our appointment time three times and was casual about the work. To top it off, trying to get a resolution is a nightmare. After waiting on hold with Safelite customer service for ten minutes, the representative claimed she couldn't hear me and hung up. Safelite used to be a top-tier company, but they have become too big to care about quality control and customer satisfaction. Advice for locals: Do yourself a favor and avoid the headache. It’s well worth driving two hours to the Asheville location with a 4.8 rating to get it done right the first time. I wish I had done that myself. This location is absolutely not recommended.

  I came up with my deductible just to have my windshield whistle , an my car half way put back together, feeling like I need my money back .. now I have to waste more time because the job wasn't done right the first time.. not ti mention the tech didnt even recalibrate my safety features..i had to.go back in.. waste of time an money...

  I had a 3-4" crack in my windshield. The technician came out on Monday, 8/24, and was here from about 3:05-3:30 PM. If he took before/after pictures of the damage or attempted repair, he did not share those with me. He didn't explain to me what repairs he made or attempted to make or why the crack couldn't be fully repaired, and there is still a 1.5" crack in the windshield. The only thing he said to me was not to get a car wash for two days. I called my insurance agency, and they connected with me a Safelite Solutions representative. She told me that the technicians are supposed to take before/after pictures. She tried to transfer me to the shop - no answer. I tried calling on my own - no answer. I'm extremely disappointed in the shop's customer service.

  Windshield replacement. Dropped the car Aug 22nd, they had it for the whole day. Never called us to say it was ready. So, end of the day we stop by to see what's going on. We find the car unlocked in the parking lot. Driving the car home, we saw that the HUD is double vision and tilted. Not bringing back for them to fix it. Not worth it. Update: brought back to show the issue. First, the tech said that we should have chosen the OEM windshield and not the aftermarket one. But that option was never offered to us. Then he said that the HUD was sharp. I took a picture of it and showed it to him. He said the issue was my phone. Needless to say we are pretty aggravated at this point. He got his phone to do another picture, but before he could do that, he got offended and left us and went back into the store. So we drove home.
