  The worst experience. The customer service was terrible. I do not know what has happened to good customer service. The safelite off of Carrier Dr in Charlotte NC. If there's another one. I would recommend that one. I believe there needs to be training courses on customer service. I didn't get the guys name who worked the front desk. He was certainly someone I would not hire to work for my company. When I walked in there was no one at the front desk. I waited 20 minutes before someone came to the front. I'll take my business somewhere else. Why do people think they're doing you a favor. If it wasn't for the customer. They would not be in business.

  The only issue I had was trying to schedule an appointment online. It appeared as though that was for people not going through their insurance companies. That was not clear in the instructions and why I gave four stars instead of five. After I gave up trying to schedule online and called their customer service, everything went well. The rep that I spoke with was polite, professional and patient with all of my questions. They also made all the arrangements with my insurance company, and my appointment was the next morning. Everything else was very smooth and efficient, from check-in, to paying and pick up! Definitely would recommend them and also use them again.

  After many years of driving around with a crack that wasn't in my line of sight (and kept growing every winter), I FINALLY decided to break down and get it replaced. I shopped around through various local shops and the safelite prices were comparable and they advertise alot on siriusxm, so I was leaning that way, but I'm frugal so I was looking for a coupon. If you book, but back out, their system automatically sends you a couple of one-time discount codes, but the one I found on instagram was actually better, so I used that. It was 50Social, but I doubt that one stays valid. I bet they rotate codes all the time. Anyway, I booked it online finally last week and the tech came today. The system sends you messages and a video to let you know what to expect. They let you pay when you book, at any time later or after the service. I chose to pay when I heard from the actual tech. I used their portal. They give you a window of time, which is about 5 hours, so in theory, it COULD eat an entire afternoon, but that was not the case. The safelite tech, Alex, messaged me about 45 minutes before the repair window of 12-5 and advised that he'd arrive at the very first part of the window. Sure enough, he was there exactly on time. He presented as a cleancut young professional and spoke in the same manner. He walked me through exactly what to expect. It took about 80 minutes. Amazingly, he managed to get my very badly cracked windshield off in one piece! The windshield was IMMACULATE after he was done. He walked me through not doing carwashes for 2 days and confirmed the payment amount before processing it. I would send friends and family to safelite again, based on my experience today.

  I initially booked a mobile appointment online, then the day before the appointment they called to tell me they couldn’t do the calibration portion of the job unless I brought our car to a physical location. So I made a new appointment (the only one available within a week was 40 mins away) and was told the time should be 2.5-3 hours. After waiting for 3 hours and 45 minutes, I was told my car didn’t have enough gas to complete the calibration and they were about to close so I’d have to just go home and come back the next day. When I asked if I needed to make an appointment to come back I was told the front desk person had already left for the day (it was 4:45) so no one could help me. I tried chatting in and calling customer service and was told there was also nothing they can do until the shop front desk person was back. So now I have a car that’s not calibrated properly and have to figure out how to fix it tomorrow I guess. But they didn’t hesitate charging me for the service even though it wasn’t complete. So I would give zero stars if I could

  A rock in my windshield on the highway should have resulted in a simple repair. Instead, it turned into a 2 month nightmare involving multiple shop visits, repeated issues, poor communication, and frustrating customer service. Getting updates was difficult, problems were not resolved efficiently, and I often felt like I was the one managing the entire process. Because my insurance required me to use Safelite, I had no alternative provider. To make matters worse, the issue still has not been resolved. My most recent mobile recalibration appointment ended with a technician no calling and no showing, despite the recalibration not being completed during my previous 5 hour in-shop visit. No one has provided a clear explanation or resolution. What should have been a straightforward windshield replacement became one of the most frustrating service experiences I've ever had. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location.
