Z was a huge help! Came in first thing in the morning with a flat tire, and he got me taken care of right away. He quickly fixed the leaking valve causing the issue. Got me back on the road and on my way to work. Great, friendly service - highly recommend!

I don’t understand why they allow you to schedule appointments online but don’t honor the appointments and instead go by a first come first serve basis. Very stupid. I scheduled an 8am appointment and was still told “it would be a while”. The older man that I encountered at the front was very grumpy and not nice at all. I do not recommend spending your time or money at this business.

Earlier this week, I ordered tires & set an appointment for 2pm online through the Mavis website . I received I call letting me know they don't honor the online reservations & run off a first come first serve basis, but had an overall positive experience with the staff member on the phone. I arrived at 1pm and worked from their office. They didn't take my car back until 5pm to which it was determined I had ordered were the wrong size tires. I recognize that mistake was on me - but wish they had double checked sizes upon arrival (especially given I went through the trouble of "booking an app online" so I wouldn't have waited 4 hours and it was caught by staff on the front end. They offered to order the correct size & finish my oil change.
I changed my schedule and came back a couple days later to drop the car off first thing at 8:15am in hopes my car would be seen first & I had been told my service would typically take ~2hrs. I ubered off site to give ample time for the service. I came back at 12pm and my car was still in the same parking spot I left it. Unfortunately, I had to leave again because of scheduling and at that rate, it would have been 4pm before my car was seen. I left frustrated, but no attempt to ensure I come back another day.
I wished staff had been more upfront about the timing and capacity, especially scheduling our day around drop offs and pick ups. After 8 hours at Mavis this week, I'm leaving with an oil change and looking for my set of tires and alignment elsewhere. :/

Would not recommend at all. Paid 25$ for a reservation at 4PM. Showed up at 3:40 just to be told they are too busy to do it today... One guy actually working. Multiple people just sitting around. Huge inconvenience and never plan to return. 0/5

**1 Star — Extremely Disappointed With the Service and Management**
I would give zero stars if I could. I had my front and rear brakes replaced, along with rear calipers, at Mavis Discount Tire on Park Road. I was quoted approximately $1,800, and to their credit, they did honor that price.
Unfortunately, the problems started immediately after I picked up my car.
I drove only a short distance before stopping at an intersection, and I had to push the brake pedal nearly to the floor to come to a complete stop. I immediately returned to the shop and explained what had happened. The manager, Jim, had the vehicle looked at and admitted there was a small amount of air in the brake lines, which he attributed to the electric parking brake.
After that, the brakes were better, but they were extremely spongy and did not feel anything like they had before the repair. I drove the car for two days and returned to Mavis because I was still concerned about the brakes. Jim repeatedly told me that the brakes were fine and that they had already looked at them. He eventually said they had re-flushed the system using an alternative procedure to make sure all the air was removed.
The brakes were still very spongy.
At that point, I felt like Jim was simply tired of dealing with me rather than taking my safety concerns seriously. He became increasingly dismissive and, at one point, appeared to avoid me rather than address my concerns.
That Friday evening, I took the car to another independent mechanic and asked them to inspect the brakes. I was able to watch their inspection. The mechanic told me that the front brakes appeared not to have been bled. He pointed out that the bleeder screws on the front calipers showed no indication that they had been opened during the bleeding process. He also showed me the fluid coming from the front lines, which was noticeably darker/amber in color, and I could hear air escaping from the lines during the bleeding process.
This left me extremely concerned. If the front brake lines had not been properly bled, I don't understand how the brake system could have been completely flushed and all the air removed as I had been told.
Brake work is a **safety issue**, and I should not have had to repeatedly return to the shop or take my vehicle somewhere else to get the brakes properly inspected after spending $1,800.
The price was comparable to what I would expect to pay at a dealership, but the level of service and customer care was nowhere near what I expected for that amount of money. More importantly, I felt dismissed when I raised a legitimate safety concern.
Jim is the manager and is often the person customers see or speak with on the phone. He is the face of the shop, and his attitude toward customers matters. I strongly recommend taking your vehicle somewhere else, especially for work involving your brakes. I personally will never bring my car back to this location.
