    What’s the point of making a reservation with Enterprise if the company can simply cancel it without telling you? I reserved my rental weeks in advance, yet when I arrived I was told they didn’t have the vehicle I reserved. Instead of taking responsibility or finding a real solution, they sent me to another Enterprise location. After wasting more of my time driving there, I was told they didn’t have any vehicles either. Then another employee tried to blame the situation on my reservation supposedly being made the same day. That was an outright lie. My reservation had been made weeks earlier. The truth was that an Enterprise employee had canceled my reservation, and no one bothered to notify me. So after planning ahead, I was left driving from one location to another, being given false information, and ending up with no rental car at all. The employees either had no idea what was going on or were willing to tell me anything to get me out the door. A reservation should actually reserve a vehicle. If Enterprise can’t honor reservations and then misrepresents why they failed, their entire reservation system is nothing more than false reassurance. They wasted my time, disrupted my plans, and showed a complete lack of accountability. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere, and I would strongly caution anyone who relies on having a vehicle available to think twice before trusting Enterprise with their reservation.

    I hate to even write this review but the bind that this has put me in and total disrespect is beyond at this point. I made a reservation a week ago for a full size truck because I’m in the middle of a move to Charlotte from Wilmington. I get a call today at 11:41 as I’m waiting for my uber to pick me up to take me to Enterprise for a 12pm pick up!! Have to cancel Uber which I’m out a few bucks not that big of a deal. They inform me.. mind you 19 minutes until my reservation starts that they do not have the full size truck that I requested. They try to offer a small SUV.. I explain I need the truck because I’m moving items that my moving company will not take. He says ok.. let me see what I can do I’ll call you right back. Wait for over an hour no call. Also I have movers meeting me in Wilmington this afternoon that I have already made a deposit to and now I am past the time to cancel so have to pay in full no matter what. I call the number back and they tell me this is the large truck rental desk and that someone used their phone to call because the phones are out at the South Blvd location. So they give me a number to call. I think the girl said I reached the Pineville location. I spoke with her she tried contacting the manager at the other location.. no luck!! She looked at other locations to get a truck but saw none . She said she was waiting for 3 other locations to get back .. it’s been 3 hours no word or callbacks! Which really is not even her job to do so! As for the South Blvd location… nothing.. crickets since receiving the call as my uber was minutes away from picking me up!! Common courtesy is all I was asking for but not a word. Who conducts business in this way, just leaving your customer out there with not even a phone call!! And I explained my situation to him on the phone!! I’m a great customer as well!! This would have been my 4th rental in the last 2 months at this location. Now I’m out hundreds of dollars because I can’t make it to Wilmington to meet movers on the other end. I had to pivot and wait till my husband gets off work and drive me to Wilmington later tonight. I had to rent a truck in Wilmington from a different rental company which also cost me way more money!! The funniest part about all of this.. is when they put you on hold .. the recording says we are here for your needs. We want are customers to have peace of mind and are here for you!! What a joke!

    This is the first Google review I have ever left that was not 5 stars. My recent experience with the Enterprise location on South Boulevard in Charlotte was extremely disappointing and deeply concerning. I rented a vehicle on June 26 and returned it on July 1. During the return process, an Enterprise employee completed a walk-around inspection and told me the vehicle was in great condition. More than 30 hours later, I received a phone call claiming one of the rims had been damaged and asking for my insurance information so a claim could be filed against me. Once I realized I was being accused of damage I absolutely did not cause, I informed the employee that I would be recording the remainder of the conversation for my own protection. What made this even more troubling was what the manager admitted during the recorded call that: He told me he did not believe I caused the damage. He acknowledged the alleged damage was not identified during the initial inspection and could have been from a previous renter. He also confirmed that the vehicle’s interior inspection was not completed until approximately 1:00 PM the day after I returned the vehicle, roughly 28 hours later. I wasn’t contacted until about 30 hours after returning the vehicle. Those admissions alone raise serious questions about how Enterprise determined I was responsible. During the lengthy period between my return and their delayed inspection, the vehicle was in Enterprise’s possession. There is no reasonable basis to conclude that I caused the damage. In my opinion, Enterprise attempted to file a false insurance claim against me without sufficient evidence. That is an incredibly serious matter. Had I simply provided my insurance information without questioning the claim, my insurance could have been impacted for damage that Enterprise’s own manager acknowledged I likely did not cause. I have formally requested that the claim be withdrawn and that Enterprise investigate how this happened. I hope no other customer has to go through an experience like this. Until Enterprise improves its inspection process and accountability, I cannot recommend renting from this location.

    This has been one of the best experiences with a car rental service I’ve ever had. My insurance company has been a pain in the butt for these past 2 months but working with this enterprise has been awesome. In a day and age when customer service doesn’t exist they have been gold standard of it. I called last week to get my vehicle extended, and Kentrell worked it out everything was right. Jasimine in the front has been awesome Everytime ive been in there, i also apologize for forgetting your name but it is also a slim African American women who always gives good service. Then the guy Josh or John was dope too. You guys are always invited to my restaurant BWW of Monroe! I’ll take care of yall, keep it up !

The team is always professional, helpful, and efficient, and they consistently provide five-star service and support.
