  Kelvin and his team in Mathews NC was great to work with. We are hundreds of miles from home on vacation and our truck was in need of emergency services. Kelvin and his team were very nice and accommodating. Rental vehicle was super clean. Pick up only took minutes and drop off was a breeze. 10/10 would recommend the Matthews facility.

  Easy to rent, pick up and return the car. Staff were helpful and friendly. Made appropriate suggestions and helped make the experience easy. Car was in good shape and fit our needs perfectly.

  My wife reserved a rental car a full week in advance, but our pickup experience at this Independence Blvd location was incredibly unprofessional. The associate, Austin, treated her with complete disrespect and condescension from the moment she asked basic, simple questions. I attempted to clarify the question that we had about the billing of rental and was received with rolling eyes and a dismissive gesture from Austin. When the car was brought around, it was significantly smaller than the car class she had reserved and would not hold our luggage. Austin dismissively told her that was all they had, and casually suggested we drive over to the Charlotte-Douglas airport if we wanted something else. When asked if he could look up the airport location's phone number to help us secure a proper car there, he sarcastically snapped back that they "didn't have a phone."The worst part is that during checkout, we observed several larger vehicles sitting right there on the lot. In the past when renting cars, we have always been given the option of an upgrade if the requested size wasn't available. Instead of doing the right thing, Austin felt it more appropriate to rudely dismiss a loyal customer. Completely unacceptable service—avoid this location.
