  Concerning the uptown location in Charlotte, first, they strong arm you into getting their accident insurance coverage, even though you tell them you are using your own personal insurance coverage. Then they still bill you for their accident insurance coverage. I’m thinking about getting a lawyer.

  Don’t trust making a reservation here. The staff themselves said that they frequently oversell and cannot fulfill reservations the same day. I made my reservation multiple days in advance and when I showed up for my 10:30am pickup they said that there was no way that they could get me a vehicle of any kind that day. Not that it would be a sedan instead of a mid-sized SUV like we reserved, but that we would not be able to get any vehicle at all even though we made a reservation days in advance. The staff there saying that it happens often and therefore hardly being apologetic about it is unacceptable. I then got ahold of customer service and they said that a manager would give me a call back to address and get more info, but they never did. Hours later we got a car elsewhere.

  Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional! I had a confirmed reservation at the Charlotte Downtown branch, but when I arrived, I was told they had absolutely no cars available. I was then instructed to drive all the way to the University branch, with an explicit assurance that they were notified, would stay open, and would wait for me until 6:15 PM. I rushed over there, only to find the University branch completely closed. ended up stranded at two different locations with a confirmed reservation and zero support. Absolute lack of communication, zero accountability, and a complete waste of my time. Do not trust their reservations!

  I reserved a full size SUV, for our family of 6. When I arrived at 11:00PM, after our flight was delayed they said that the reservation had been cancelled. I had not cancelled the reservation, and I had the email with the reservation code. They said they would try to treat it as a walk in and get me one. They reported back that unfortunately they had no cars. Then they said they had one that would hold 5 people. I explained I have a wife and 4 kids that I need one that would hold 6. They said sorry. I elevated it to a manager and she says the same thing, that I was out of luck. They were cold and rude. I pressed harder and they finally said they had one that would work. I go back there, and not only did they have 1, they had 3!!!
