While It may have just been a busy day, it took over 25 minutes (in a line) to get to the Associate who directed us to the car we reserved. This was after I checked-in online. Then to find out that the large car we reserved was not available and we had to pick one of the other cars. There were four of us with suitcases and could only choose from the smaller SUV's that were left. We survived, but the two Handicapped persons that accompanied us weren't very comfortable. We managed, but why select a car that we required ten weeks in advance only to pick up what was left?

This is my first time renting from the Enterprise in Charlotte Airport. What made the experience five stars was returning the car - David made everything quick and easy…which I was very grateful for given how long security lines were that day! The only issue I had was related to the rental car choices. The car that I usually choose when I do a rental, Mazda CX5, was not clean and had clear accident damage in the front, so we went with a different car. I was surprised it was even put out as an option without having been repaired or cleaned first.

Do NOT rent from Enterprise I am extremely dissatisfied with Enterprise at Raleigh-Durham Airport and with Enterprise’s 800-number customer service. I rented a car at Charlotte Airport on Wednesday, May 13, returned it to RDU on Friday, May 15 at 1:00 PM, and as of Sunday, May 17, the rental still has not been closed out and I still have not received a copy of my receipt. Enterprise’s own process says receipts should be available online beginning 48 hours after return, but that has not been my experience here. I called the 800 number three times and each interaction was frustrating and unhelpful. I also have been unable to contact the local office directly, which makes it impossible to resolve a basic issue like getting a receipt for a completed rental. As a Gold member, I expected much better service and basic accountability. Instead, I have experienced poor communication, no resolution, and no apparent value placed on loyal customers.

Charlotte Airport- Pick up was very confusing. I pre-checked in (via email link), and was told to head to 3rd level to the enterprise booth in parking garage. Once there it wasn't occupied. A sign read to head to 2nd level to enterprise counter. Once there i was told no that I had pre checked and needed to head down the hall and to the left. And see the guy at the Alamo booth. At this point im very confused as I rented from enterprise. Once at Alamo booth, I was told to walk to the 3rd pillar and pick out any car to the right and the keys were in it. Still very confused at this point. Once in the car I drove to booth where the guy was and he said leave through the exit and pointed. Ummm ok still confused. Once at exit, yet another booth where a guy scanned barcode on window asked my name, and then said I was good to go..... Once at drop off you simply park the car and walk away! No one goes over the car with you or after to look for damage or fuel range. Note- no windshield washer fluid and car would ding every so often needing an oil change.

You know the situation... early start, long packed flight, bags take a while to appear. Then its off to the rental car counters and they all have lines. Long lines. But luckily I reserved my vehicle with Enterprise. I could have avoided the desk altogether if I had pre-checked in with the Enterprise app but I wanted to use a different card to pay the booking so to the desk it was. 2nd in line, waited less than a minute and it took leas than another minute to be on the way to the garage (about 200 ft away at CLT) where I was directed straight to the vehicle. Also, less that $90/day including insurance for a full-size pick-up truck. So happy
