  Had to take a break from meetings and have someone follow me to the store. Specifically to ask if I could get a battery test and possibly purchase a new battery. Person working the counter told me that I would have to go to a different store because he wouldn't be able to do the battery test for me right now due to the fact that he was the only person in the store at that time. Absolutely ridiculous. I was directed to go down the road to another store. Taking more of my time and the person who was assisting me.

  Very disappointed with AutoZone. I arrived 13 minutes before closing because I was having an issue with my car and needed to use the OBD scanner. The staff refused to provide the service even though the store was still open. I understand employees want to leave on time, but refusing a basic service 13 minutes before closing is poor customer service. If the service is not available before closing, the store should clearly state the cutoff time. I will take my business elsewhere.

  Thank you Barry for top tier service! Went in and Barry helped me find what I needed although they did not have it in store. He told me if I order it and need help replacing the piece he would help! And he kept his word, integrity, efficiency and he did it with a smile. That’s great service that keeps customers coming back!

  Awful experience! I would never go here again unless there are different employees. Came in on a Sunday, Aug 2nd. It was after 6:30 pm. Store was empty , one employee at the register The entire place inside smelled like weed. I asked if they could check my battery, it wasn’t holding a charge. The employee mumbled and said he has to wait until his other employee was done in the bathroom. Take a guess where the weed smell was coming from? A young man, I believe ( no name tag on) He mumbled his name was “Eric” He came out and grabbed the battery tester and went to check my battery function His pants were hanging off him, he was higher than the clouds that were rolling in fast. He worked at the pace of a Turtle. Honestly almost in reverse. No care in the world , just barely walking slowly. He hooks up the tester , reads it and says absolutely nothing to me and slowly treks back inside. He mumbled something to the other , slightly older employee. Neither said a word to me. I felt like I was getting punked Then the other employee comes out and does the same thing as the 1st one. Only this guy tells me to start the car, I try and it won’t Then he says the car is on , shut it off It’s clearly off, no engine running nothing He walks around my car and mumbles that yes, in fact my car is off. He tells me it’s not the battery, that my car is registering that it’s on and I need to take it to the dealership to figure it out. I was in disbelief! I knew it was the battery! So finally he disconnects the battery from the car and it reads that it’s dead , it is in fact the battery After more than an hour to just check my battery function, I finally go inside to buy a battery. As he is ringing me up, (Eric is doing some trash ( very slowly ) The guy yells at him and tells him what he just did with the trash was stupid This Eric kid was so high that apparently even trash duty was too much to ask Honestly , I would never go here again The employees acted like I was a burden to them for asking for help. I wish I took a video or picture of them ESP Eric when he shuffled out high as a kite to test my battery. I was freaking out that this is the dude that’s gonna help me! He looked and acted like he could barely tie his own shoes .
